The signage for the lift wasn't obvious when you're standing at the base of the escalator. We came down the lift but it was a small platform barely big enough for a wheelchair and the button had to be held pressed to drop. Seating for food was a bit grotty on new year's Day. KFC service was fast but expensive and they use fast-dissolving paper straws.
I'm pleased to say that they have at long last resurfaced the lorry park and dealt with the horrendous pot holes that were everywhere. Parking bays are marked out herringbone style, making parking very easy. Vast improvements here.

Lets be honest, you visit service stations out of necessity rather than choice. This is a solid option though - plenty of choices for fast food and snacks, decently maintained toilets, parking is a little tight but manageable. Nice views from the main bridge seating.
