Great coffee and food. Baked goods made on premises are delicious. Might struggle for seating at times due to lots of people working on laptops. Kid and dog friendly.

Love it. Great age range of people. Coffee delicious, cakes very tasty and it's fun watching the baker onsite. Plants good but a little too expensive.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of buggies around.

Lovely bread and sweet bakes, and a fair price for the excellent coffee. Eat-in food prices are a little steep, but good quality fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Clean toilets (I've stopped using Cafe Nero in Loughborough as the toilets are always filthy/not working and some of the staff need retraining). Will definitely be using Public in the future.

The cafe space is amazing and unique. A great place for students, families and all looking for a quick coffee or relaxed lunch. They serve lovely food and coffee, with a different selection of baked treats every week. The staff were super friendly.

i love public, the interior, coffee, sourdough mushroom toastie, flapjacks and everything. BUT! they need better ventilation, i don’t want to carry the food home on me.

Great coffee, tasty menu, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, airy and spacious. Also breads baked onsite ( visibly) delicious fresh sourdough for a reasonable price. Full marks!

A friend introduced me to this place and we enjoyed lunch here on 29th September 2023. I loved the relaxing vibe and the food looked and tasted great! I had roasted veg on sourdough bread. Unfortunately I was violently sick that night so it has put me off going back. Can’t help wonder whether the roasted veg were freshly prepared that day and stored properly. Wonder if anyone else was horribly sick that day? Hopefully this was a one-off. I enjoyed the look and feel of the place so I might give it one more chance at some point in the future.

Ordered two breakfast rolls, one veggie and one bacon and egg, they brought two bacon ones but quickly changed the other. The rolls were nice and the coffee was also good, but at £7 for a roll with a mushroom, an egg and some cherry tomatoes (or bacon and egg) this seemed pricey. Nice decor though, think quasi industrial loft living.

Lovely staff, great food and beautiful space. Great for a brunch spot and love the laptop area for getting some work done. Sometimes can get very busy but understandable with how lovely it is!
