what a lovely establishment. I was taken there for a celebratory meal, and it was flawless. The ambience was a delight, as soon as you entered the reception area The food selection on the specials board menu made choosing a little difficult, because you knew that this wasn't just a 'bistro/bulk' type of place, it oozed refined dining. When the food arrived, the presentation was just beautiful, as the saying goes..." you first eat with your eyes". Both of our meals on each course were explained down to the fine details, and cooked to perfection- what an accolade to the Chef and their team. The wine list was extensive, with quality wines that a sommelier would be proud of. The staff had obviously been trained to a high standard, were very attentive to detail, and the Maitre d' (if that is his title) was spot on. It was truly a pleasurable afternoon spent with a special person. Thankyou

This place we discovered just by luck and definitely recommending! Absolutely amazing atmosphere, felt welcomed, food was wonderfully delicious, lots of different draft beers, clean bathrooms, and board games. We will return . Parking was easy, just behind the pub, we paid a ticket for two hours which cost £2 after 6 pm. Thank you so much for such a wonderful food ! ? ? ?

I did not eat so can’t comment on that area of service- although the food looked and smelt delicious. I had coffee and chatted with the owner Muzzy who was very helpful regarding advice for my broken phone and recommendations on repair shop. He was very friendly and helpful and took time to speak and advise me. Other customers were very friendly and great atmosphere and prompt service. Thankyou Muzzy and team. X

It's so great to find a Korean restaurant in a place where there aren't many Koreans. I had a delicious Korean meal for the first time after arriving in Loughborough. The presence of Korean friends made me feel at ease. It was the first Korean meal I had in a few weeks. It was delicious. There was a lot of rice and plenty of side dishes. The food came out quickly. It was a late lunch, but it was even better.

I called on the evening of the first euro semi final. No telly, so that may have accounted for only a dozen or so customers. Even so the customers were chatty, it’s dog friendly and the range of beers exceptional. I went for a Guerrilla Stout. Really smooth, went down a treat. This is how pubs should be imho!!

This place is one you must visit no matter how far away it is. Everything was perfect, starting with the service, the team here were amazing people, with a warm friendly welcome and atmosphere to match I was already impressed. The service is want I look for and these days so hard to find, well done team. Now the food and coffee, wow! The menu was unique, the quality of ingredients and the taste was outstanding. Full of delicious flavours, take your time and taste what you’re eating rather than eat. The RKD is a wonderful place to be, it’s clear that they care and work hard to deliver the best, it shows, right down to the details if you look. Highly recommended. This place is incredible and what I am working towards owning one day with my business. Massive thanks Tom and your team. Scruffy.

Tonight was the first time I ordered from Eastern Spice, and no issues whatsoever. Delivery was exactly as promised, food was still very hot when arrived, and everything was very taste and could easily tell it was fresh and quality ingredients. We attended The Waterside Inn on Monday for lunch and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff are welcoming, polite and helpful. We ordered food and it staff member who took the order was really nice and went through the options for us and made adjustments were needed. The food came out in good time, looked delicious and tasted just as good. It was piping hot and the portions were really good. Pricing is reasonable for the location, the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The Waterside Inn will definitely be our go to place for lunch time meetings and maybe a cheeky drink later in the day. It’s a lovely place which would suite every one from those want lunch to a couple on a date and even families. Located on the side of the River Soar there are lovely views which on a nice day can be enjoyed from the ample outdoor seating, there is also a nice open space for children. Highly recommended by us here at Radio 1860.
