This cake place gives good memories ? i first tried the selection whilst I was on a date around 2 years back ? with one of my ex gf. Amazing place & a nice blonde lady (staff) served us.Been again for cakes ? & it’s nice! :)

We ordered a layered chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday. The cake was sucluant and moist; rich creamy chocolate icing. The cake was the most fabulous icing on the birthday celebration. We will return time and time again.We found the staff were very pleasant and most helpful. They were courteous.Service was excellent

Lady at the till was very rude, jacket potato with cheese used to be served with a side salad and crisps.. its now £5.90 for just the potato with cheese.. no butter.. very bland, over priced and I'm still hungry. My friends poached egg was rock hard and then she was served an undercooked poached egg... disgusting. She was charged £1.50 for the side salad which was just in a bowl not even on the plate and the menu doesn't advertise you have to pay extra. Very disappointing , used to be a lovely place for a light lunch... ashamed to have recommened it to My friend and to have Baught her here. :( cakes are still nice but not worth visiting for lunch or breakfast anymore...such a shame, see the picture of the raw slimy egg she was served.. yuck.

We had a cake made for a family members birthday. The cake was amazing and not much more expensive than an occasion cake from a supermarket - yet much better quality! They personalised the cake for us too at no additional cost. Lady who served us was friendly and polite.

The cake is ok, not always fresh but it’s very difficult to communicate with staff who are unable to speak basic English. They also don’t accept their own offers from the loyal free app. When challenged, lady serving barley understood so had to ask for help for another lady who offered no solution.More like no cake solution- consider a name change.Unlikely to return due to the poor service received.
