we have lunch most Fridays & it is always very tasty & served quickly by the friendly staff. Today I was treated to an afternoon tea, it was fantastic with a selection of fresh sandwiches, cakes, a scone with jam & cream & a glass of delicious fizz. thank you to the lovely ladies who looked after

45 minutes wait to make 2 coffees and put a slice of cake on a plate is not really acceptable. After waiting 15 minutes to be able to place an order. Scones are too dry and fall apart, cant even cut them in half without it crumbling to pieces. Atmosphere is nice, but the tables are covered in crumbs and grime. Even when staff removes used plates and cups, they don't wipe the tables. The only star is given for staff friendliness

Just popped in the little shop, which was delightful, after enjoying a Michelin starred meal at John's House Restaurant. Both on the same site.

Local cafe situated next to / on the grounds of Stonehurst farm, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. Used to come fairly regularly during summer with baby group after classes and it was lovely sitting in the sunshine on the hay bales sipping great coffee in the outdoor seating area.Plenty of options for food but, it would be great if they had a clearer menu board around the area where being served (with pricing) and not just print out menus at the tables - not ideal for those looking to take-away / sit outdoors when it isn't overly clear what options are available. Even as a dine in, I ordered and had to re-order after finding a menu at the table and figuring out what I'd wanted.Coffee is lovely but overall drinks/food are on the pricier side. Last ordered a breakfast cob with sausage and egg, both items could have done with being cooked a little bit longer as seemed to be a little underdone - otherwise great selection and good quality.

Lovely little farm shop.Nice little cafe where you can get freshly baked snacks to eat.Can get a little noisy if there's a prams and kids.Parking: You can park there but there's not many spaces
Local to me and I’m a season ticket holder for the farm, I definitely think we should all support local businesses but come on Stonehurst clean up your act in the cafe!Tables full of used crockery and food debris, the floor is never swept between customers and the chairs are never wiped over at all ? pretty grim! When I asked for the table to be cleaned the lady just swept all the crumbs onto the floor ?Considering this is a family run business and is loved by all in the surrounding villages you really need to make more effort with keeping the place clean and tidy.

The Leicestershire Enthusiasts branch of the National Autocycle and Cyclemoter Club (NACC) held our 21st anniversary buffet lunch at the Farmers Den tearoom on Sunday 8th May.We would like to place on record our appreciation for the absolutely excellent food that was served and also attentive and efficient staff that helped towards making our day the success it was. With many thanks.

Lovely spot for a late lunch with indoor seating if all the outdoor tables are taken. Nice food options and great friendly service ?
