Can’t begin to understand how the team managed to stay on their feet this evening!Staff were amazing even though there were only few of them at the time. Flooding in the area caused a lot of havoc for all but the amazing team here pulled through and still delivered the best service.Cannot thank you enough for being brilliant!

The restaurant offers generous portions, making it a good value for the price. While the food is satisfactory, it might not stand out in terms of presentation. The roasted lamb was delicious.

We needed some breakfast, so popped in here as we were passing.Food was decent enough and pretty much what you'd expect from a Toby Carvery. The toaster was so slow, and it looked like they were understaffed a little, but despite these issues, the staff that were in were clearly doing what they could.Parking: It's own car park attached to the building, but just make you put your reg plate into the tablet on the bar so you don't get stung.

Disappointed that you are advertising a vegetarian meal on the festive menu, and I ordered it with your waiter and went back to collect after the chef said that I never ordered it but the waiter said sorry I forgot to order it fir you. After waiting 30 minutes or so another waitress came and apologised on behalf of the kitchen staff and said we don't have that particular in stock. I find that the service was really disappointing and badly disorganised I will not be returning it's a shame as it used to be very good service and the vegetarian option was always available. Not good at advertising a festive vegetarian menu when it wasn't even available and my wife was given macaroni cheese which she had to rush to eat it.Vegetarian options: Have stuff in stock if you need to be successful

Drove a fair distance to this Toby carvery for lunch. Sign on the door said due to festive season bookings only. We went in to check if that was a pre warning or active now. We were told it’s active now. 6 weeks from Christmas, empty tables and turning people away. Not impressed but you’ve just lost 4 people so your loss

Nice atmosphere food was great but service could have been better as one girl was too quiet but pleasant and another was rude by ignoring me when I spoke to her although they did the job they need a little more personality when serving the

We were charged for 6 adult carveries and 1 child’s carvery. There was only 6 of us so should have only been charged for 5 adults and 1 child!!! Unfortunately we failed to check the bill before paying.Having said that, the meal was lovely. There was a delay in getting drinks, possibly due to staff shortages.

Lovely food and some staff very nice.Seemed to have a lot of very young staff that did not know what to do.This would have got a higher rate only I was disgusted when my companion asked for a takeaway box it was going to cost him £2.00.

I regularly eat at the establishment, and order a large beef only carvery. However yesterday I was given just 2 very thin pieces of beef from the end of the joint, I enquired if the chap serving thought it was a large portion, and he replied yes you just get extra meat, but then proceeded to give my fiance two large slices of a freshly cut turkey crown.A little disgruntled we returned to our seats, and began to eat, around a third of the way through my meal I bit into what can only be described as a large piece of gravel, it was around 15mm in diameter, this has completely loosened my back tooth and it will now have to be extracted.I called over an employee and explained and she said it was a burnt pea! She then said the kitchen manager would deduct the cost of my meal from the final bill, although a kind enough gesture, this experience has left me in oral agony and around 200 pounds out of pocket once the extraction has been carried out.I have always thoroughly enjoyed dining at Toby carvery the length and breath of the country, but as a family we shall now be finding alternative eateries.

Good Sunday Roast...Very busy, so don't expect much from a service point of view, especially if you don't like the table they give you... It won't be changed as I had a booking at 11:10 for a lunch and they still managed to refuse our table amendment request even though we were amongst the first people in!
