Picking up f/c for my elderyl mother. The huge freezer which had just been delivered was left in the front of the shop. Much ribald discussion between customers and staff was held about how the freezer would have to be lifted over the fryers and counter to get it into position in the kitchen. The friendly atmosphere with the local clientele showed how popular this small village fish and chips shop isPrices were mid range and portion sizes were on the large side. had mixed meat only for donner meat and was basically under cooked couldn’t eat it chips where lovely though won’t go back

Was over charged by a £1 asked how they got to that and she used a calculator to add £2.80 £2.00 and £1.40 = £7.20 to her ??? As well as the brown black soggy things called chips I wish I'd just walked away, but I will not be going in again not only can they not add uo but they can not cook a decent chip ........ chips were thrown in bin.

Friendly, clean and good prices. The chips were absolutely delicious! Popped in just before closing and they were happy to serve, felt guilty going in near closing time but they made us feel welcome.

Great chips, Pukka pie as good as always, having grown up next to the old factory 60 years ago and the pea fritter was ace. Good value these days, excellent service, very friendly.
