Stayed at the royal arms several times over the years, the location is great and the staff are friendly. It doesn’t get packed out with rowdy gangs and is perfect if you want a quiet break or meal. Beer garden is nice too. Only problem I find here is the price of the food and drinks and not alot of choice on the menu, the portion sizes can be a bit small at times. Really nice location and setting. Plenty of parking spaces. Water pressure was a bit low and rooms were hotter than the sun but it was a warm weekend. Food was really really nice and not an unreasonable wait. Curry and the burger were both delicious. Breakfast good but a bit small really. Could have been a bit bigger for the price.
