Popped in for a hot chocolate and was asked if I wanted cream and marshmallows. It wasn't until I sat down and looked at my receipt before I saw I had been charged an extra 50p for both making my drink £1 more than advertised. Marshmallows I can understand but have never been charged for cream before in any other chains - starbucks, costa etc. Has put me off returning sadly.

I was at the cafe today on September 10, 2023 at 12:00, the food was very tasty but the service wasn't the same. I arrived with my family and the table is dirty with plates, cutlery and cups from a previous customer. Two employees came to my table twice to deliver my order and they didn't collect the used ones, my husband tried to tell them to please take them away, but before he could speak, they simply turned their backs and left them. I had to remove the used ones to be able to eat and the table was dirty. It's a shame because the food and milkshake were really tasty. But unfortunately I won't be returning to this place again. It's a shame because it's a really cozy new place in Melton Mowbray.
Stopped here for a coffee and sandwich during aa brief visit to Melton Mowbray. The service was friendly and efficient and both the sandwich and coffee were just what I needed for lunch. All was well presented and good quality. I would definitely call in again.

Been here a handful of times now and every time it has been lovely. Friendly smiley staff, good food which was a good portion, dog friendly and clean. Decor inside is very fresh and tables regularly being cleared. Brilliant!

First visit today after my usual haunt was closed with it being Monday. Pleasantly surprised. The staff are lovely, great ham and cheese toastie (proper ham) and salmon bagel, both served with crisps and salad garnish with dressing. Lovely quality coffees served in fab cups and saucers. Really love the decor and great comfy chairs too. Great spot overlooking the market place on all sides. Would highly recommend. Prices are standard, but better quality food and coffee than their mainstream competitors, by a long way.

Coffee great and priced in line with other local coffee shops. Staff friendly enough and nice outdoor seating in the market place. However, was really disappointed with the bacon roll. For £5.25 this is hilarious; a tiny crusty roll with a couple of bits of burnt bacon served on something the size of a saucer. Will continue to have a coffee here but food seems over prized (or under sized).
