Me & the mrs took a crowd of us there in December, first time we had been. Food was good, place was clean & nice service. The place was busy. Would go there again & try some different dishes. The prices are reasonable. Parking across the road is free after around 6

Amore Restaurant

We have lived in Italy for many years and struggle to find authentic food. We decided to try this restaurant out last minute. The food was delicious especially the 3 different pasta dishes we ordered. Side vegetables were also cooked very well. The bruschetta was not very authentic but it was still tasty. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very nice environment.

Gurkha Express

We dined in the restaurant on Monday evening with our baby and we all loved it. We were greeted and provided with a highchair and were the only customers because we had booked as early as possible. Everywhere was clean, tidy, and the waitress was lovely. The poppadoms were warm and crunchy, and the mint dip was fantastic. The mango chutney was the best I've ever tried. Whilst waiting for our main course, we were gifted with a complimentary starter. We don't usually go for starters, but from now on, we definitely will be, as it was delicious. When our mains came out, we were so excited to try the food, and honestly, it was the best tikka masala we've had in Melton. The garlic chilli chicken was also lovely, and spicy, and my raita dip came in handy to cool it down. The garlic naan was lovely as well. I don't usually eat everything on my plate, but I nearly enough polished off the whole thing. Safe to say, we will be returning! Finally we were given the bill with some yummy mint chocolates cold out the fridge. The best mint chocolate I've ever had, so overall, we were amazed with everything and really happy about the service. We can't wait to come back!

The Empress Of India

One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited in ages. To notch food, friendly staff. Only issue was the flickery lights on one side.We'll be back when we're in the neighborhood again.

More Coffee Co.

A very welcoming place and the staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. The Carrot cake is one of the best I've had anywhere. Fresh, succulent, tasty, and not too sweet. The hot chocolate is delicious, and I was offered a choice of alternative milk at the counter. My partner enjoyed his Tuna sandwich and cappuccino. The atmosphere was great, and the interiors makes you feel cosy. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Melton Mowbray.

K Burger Melton Mowbray

K's burger was a treat for us and kids. Excellent food with great value.Kids loved our Family Value Bag with kids chicken burger meal.The loaded nachos was excellent, with great taste.Excellent customer service with a smile and worth coming all the way from Leicester City centre.

Prima Pizza

Never had food from here before, but now I will never get a pizza from anywhere else in Melton!!!! So tasty and fresh and it was with us with in 15 minutes of ordering.

Caffe Italia

Beautiful authentic Italian restaurant and would recommend to all. If anyone is thinking of going, definitely do as the food is to die for. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All round from myself, my family and friends.Vegetarian options: Only been a few times but the fungi pasta and frittata was amazing, definitely recommend.Dietary restrictions: My dad is celiac and it was dealt with quick and efficiently, no fuss was made and his food looked and according to him tasted beautiful. Also many vegetarian options available??.

The Tap & Run

We only popped in for a coffee and stayed a while soaking up the warm outside seating area with cosy rugs and blankets.Literally on the bend of the road, we decided to call in and break up our journey.Great service, really friendly, giving us time to relax and take time out whilst on our way to Leeds.Thank you guys.Parking: Easy to park, plenty of space in a nice welcoming car park.

Uno Milano's Pizza

Recently catered for my wife's birthday. Ordered 12 pizzas and 4 garlic breads, all with varying toppings. All delivered on time and piping hot. All guests had nothing but complements about them.Many thanks to them on making a great and fun night.

Absolutely lovely pub clean cosy home from home. Beautiful home made chips food tasty buffet food aswell lovely atmosphere lovely staff can’t wait for my carvery Christine is amazing lady who is done a fab job the pub is lovely friendly with nice people lots of portions and great prices defiantly recommend.

SOI Indian Restaurant

We enjoyed dining with friends at SOI on a previous visit to Melton, so we booked again. As it was a Tuesday evening it was not as busy as at a weekend. All the food was delicious, with generous helpings. The service was friendly, polite and efficient. The prices were very reasonable.The four of us had a very enjoyable evening and we will return.

New Apurba Restaurant

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. A few people in but got a table no problem. Friendly and prompt service. Chicken Madras and Achari lamb were both excellent. My only criticism would be the very bright cold lighting which robs the place of a bit of atmosphere, but would definitely visit again.

Melton Dim Sum Chinese & Thai Takeaway

Food was absolutely delicious. The mock duck pancakes and mock chicken sweet and sour were particularly fantastic. I ordered via the website and delivery was on time and the delivery driver was friendly.Vegetarian options: Mock duck and mock chicken were very tasty.

Flying Childers

One of the best meals I have had in years! I absolutely love the atmosphere here and the staff are always so friends and welcoming. Our server, Paula, was fantastic and allowed time for us to get our drinks and peruse the menu. My mum had steak and ale pie with mash and veg and I had cheese, leek and potato pie and chips and OMG it was the best pie I have ever had.Thank you Flying Childers and thank you Paula!!!

Aroma Chicken And Square Pizza

The food was brilliant kebab meat juicy and came in a small bread wrap I get fed up with stale pitta bread so was a nice surprise garlic pizza bread lovely food was hot and delivered fast thanks guys will order again ??

spectacular chippy! cant rate all of the staff here enough. i've been here many times and ive never been disappointed. sturdy boxes too, compliments to whoever folds those!!!! keeps my kebabs warm for ages!!

Ma's cottage

I tried Ma's Cottage for the first time yesterday. The satay chicken sauce was lovely and very nice chow mein. ? The only reason I have given 4 out of 5 is because there was a bit too much oil in the satay, it was very oily! Owners, please can you rectify this? Thank you.

A&M pizza and kebabs

I was working Saturday and Sunday at Melton Mowbray Railway Station. When on Sunday the heat was getting to much so I went into here for a bottle of Pepsi max and came out with a small portion of fries (free) and bottle of water (free). The 2 gents saw someone who was clearly struggled and helped me out more than they will ever know. Lads if I'm ever back at Melton Mowbray Station. I will be back! You are credit to your local community.

Queens Pizza

A slice of home. I absolutely love their pizza, it reminds me of the ones I had religiously growing up. I’m writing my review following trying their delivery.For £15, I bagged two medium pizzas with chips and all of which came piping hot and freshly baked. Upon arrival, the driver called me to indicate he was outside and before coming out he insisted I be careful because it was raining and dark. Small sentiments like that are usually missed but I thought I’d note it because it’s small acts of kindness like that which show people in service going above and beyond for their customers.To say I’m satisfied would not cover the full extent, I’m very grateful and happy with my dining experience. We will be back!

Premier Inn Melton Mowbray hotel

Illogically, the hotel car park isn't as the picture is shown but in an industrial park round the back of the hotel. I recommend going to the reception at the front and requesting the small map that they have prepared for the many of us that have got lost while trying to follow the many road signs.The cooked breakfast on request is even better than the usual Premier inn arrangement.The shower is rather unpredictable though.Unfortunately & inconveniently, there are no USB charging sockets in the room.Noteworthy details: See my initial comment about getting to the hotel car park. And the lack of USB charging sockets.

Dove Cottage Tea Room and Charity Shop

Limited menu but what is served is very enjoyable. Orders got a little confused, there was 9 of us but the staff were lovely and things were quickly sorted out .Parking: Large car park right next to the entrance.

The Crown

Lovely Old pub lovely to see such fine decor from the light fittings to the old flooring think if I recall the Manager said it was built on the 18 hundreds nice to have a quick bite and refreshments whilst waiting for the bus into Leicester.

The Cherry Tree

I had the BBQ chicken and it was phenomenal. Quite often at the price point of the Cherry Tree the chicken is overcooked, but it was wonderful. Juicy and tender throughout, the bacon was also well cooked. Fantastic meal, much better than I'd expected it to be!

Andy's Fish Bar

From thel Yorkshire possy (Mick no salt) and the cockney pretending to be a Yorkshireman, can we all express our praise for the outstanding fish and chips. Good price. Loads of food that tasted great. Thanks and we'll see you next time we're at Eye Kettleby Lakes ???❤️❤️❤️

Andy's Fish Bar

I didn't go in, but waited in the car with my grandson and dog. The food was good, hot and fresh. I don't know about the atmosphere, but it looked OK through the window, and the place is a favourite with my daughter and her family. I trust their judgment.

When my partner and I have a lazy day, dining from here is our go to within the area. We absolutely love the wide variety of food they have to offer. The staff, food and atmosphere is lovely. They always strive to ensure they are providing an exceptional service to us, if ever a mistake is made they ensure to resurrect it immediately and act in the favour of their customers. The staff are some of the kindest and most compassionate people I have met in the food industry. Be sure to support their business!

Cafe Smile

Ok cafe which is part of the QD discount store. Food and drinks are ok and reasonably priced and plenty of seating in a reasonably pleasant environment. Only issue is that service at the counter can be very slow at busy times.

The Kettleby Cross - JD Wetherspoon

Just nipped in for a pint and a coffee after visiting the popular Melton Mowbray market.The pub was very busy but I didn't have to wait long to be served due to enough friendly efficient staff on duty.Lovely pub , good value food and drink, there is a pay and display car park directly opposite.

Millennium Fish Bar

Went to millennium for the first time around 8pm ish and first time going there, the man was very polite and funny. I enjoyed a chat with him while I waited for my food.The larger fish was delicious and fried beautifully nice and crispy and the chips were really nice too. He had a large menu to pick from which I thought was awesome.I will be coming back.
