First visit. Saturday teatime. Low beamed ceiling providing a cosy atmosphere. Usual open plan with an area set out for diners. Friendly and efficient staff. Speedy food service. Food delivered hot. Very nice Sirloin Steak perfectly cooked. Excellent fries. Very nice Apple Crumble for dessert. All washed down with a good pint of Hobgoblin.

Went here with the little football team poppys fc u6 christmas party. They hosted this absolute perfect. Food came out really quick. And fresh. Food was perfect for me. And staff and owners was polite. Would recommend to anyone worth the 20 mins drive.

Brilliant family pub, me and my partner had a mix grill, cooked to perfection! Plenty of space for our little one, and was a nice little touch with the open fire.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely food came out quickly no complaints and all together there was 7 of us, dog was given snack and water, reasonable prices, happy with the service.

Laura and the team were fantastic. They hosted 15 of us on a busy Friday night (8 of them being children) Food was great and nothing was too much for them. Highly recommended The Acorn we will definitely be returning.
