NuneatonFirst visit. Saturday teatime. Low beamed ceiling providing a cosy atmosphere. Usual open plan with an area set out for diners. Friendly and efficient staff. Speedy food service. Food delivered hot. Very nice Sirloin Steak perfectly cooked. Excellent fries. Very nice Apple Crumble for dessert. All washed down with a good pint of Hobgoblin.

The George & Dragon
Station Rd, Stoke Golding, NuneatonWe stopped by on the way back from our Sunday afternoon walk at the battlefield. We have never visited before but it looked like a lovely British pub from the pictures on Google.When you walk in there are two entrances: bar and snug. We went into the bar and it was so busy as they were serving Sunday lunch. The lady at the bar was very attentive and instantly told us that it was much quieter on the other side of the pub in the ‘snug’. We paid for our drinks and went round to the other side and it was indeed much quieter.There was a lovely atmosphere and I am sure it would be the perfect location in the Winter as they have a fire in the snug too!Parking: Not the largest car park, but considering how busy it was inside, there were lots of free spaces.

Barlestone Fish Bar- Leicestershire
1 Main St, Barlestone, NuneatonI was a bit dubious about ordering fish and chips to be delivered as I thought they might be soggy by the time we got to eat them. I was so wrong, the cod was meaty, not watery, the batter was crisp - no soggy layer between the fish and batter. The chips were great too.I'd read that card payments were not accepted, but when I rang I was told I could either pay by bank transfer or pay cash on delivery, so no problem.Friendly and efficient service.I highly recommend Barlestone Fish Bar.

Istanbul BBQ Kitchen Market Bosworth
1 Market Pl, Market Bosworth, NuneatonI was here today just talking to the guys! A customer returned as there was a portion of chips missing from his meal. The way the staff dealt with this was A*****. The customer service that they provided was amazing not something you see everyday. Not only does the food look and smell amazing the restaurant itself is very clean and tidy and well looked after! Well done to you guys here.

Tin Tin Cantonese Takeaway
31 Station Rd, Market Bosworth, NuneatonI would like to say a big thank you to Tin Tin for a beautiful meal. As I was staying at a hotel, I needed something hot. They promised that the food would be ready in 10 minutes and they kept to their word. The food was both hot and flavourful. In particular, I loved the Singapore fried rice and spare ribs. These were really tasty. I also received some complimentary prawn crackers which brought a smile to my face. Thank you for going the extra mile Tin Tin. Very much appreciated ❤️

Bosworth Battlefield, Visitor Centre & Country Park, Ambion Ln, La, NuneatonWhat a lovely place! Great addition to the battlefield for you to grab yourself a drink and a bite to eat! Was recommended it after a friend told me that new management had taken and the place was better than before (as she hadn’t had not the best experience last winter) the choice of cakes and toasties were to die for so we sure decided to take a trip. 1. The range of cakes both vegan and gluten free were exceptional! Nice to see a place so inclusive. They also tasted like heaven! And had a wide selection! 2. The range of hot pastries were to die for! All kept nice and warm and tasted homemade 10000X better than greggs or any other bakers. 3. The coffee was of exceptional quality! We had a couple of lattes and cappuccinos and everyone in our group commented on how nice and hot they were which makes a change from places like costa who make it luke warm. 4. Staff. I’ve seen a few reviews about the staff however on the day we attended I could not fault them. Very polite and chatty and talked us through all the cakes. Lady in the kitchen who brought the food out was very smiley and talkative. I felt if I needed anything they would be happy to help. Honestly lovely little place. Only downfall is there being no food options for the little ones however we just brought one toastie and they shared it so not a major issue just a possible recommendation for the future. Will return again for sure and would recommend to anyone I know! Thank you for having us!
