I recently visited the Hope and Anchor in Leicester, and it was a cozy pub experience. The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed the traditional pub fare, especially the local flavors infused into the dishes. However, I did notice some service delays during busy times. Despite that, it's still a great place to unwind with friends, savor good food, and soak in the classic British pub vibes.

Really nive family friendly pub .. we visited on a busybsunday and booked last minute after losing a table close by. They happily accommodated us party of 8 with 4 children. The service was great friendly and helpful and didn't get annoyed when the kids kept getting bit excited and stroking round. Interacted so nicley with the kids giving them some coloring to do to help us adults eat. Would definatley visit again. Lovely location too would have been nice had it been a better day as the car park had flooded slightly.Thank you to all the staff.

Booked a table for 16 people for work Christmas lunch. Despite people requiring Veggie, Vegan, gluten free and full on Christmas Dinner the food was delicious and hot. The service was outstanding, with our server being very attentive and even happy to supply extra gravy and custard. The table was set beautifully and the atmosphere warm, welcoming and Christmasey. Thank you so much.

Food ordered was meant to have a sauce, but when asked where it was answer was they'd run out, which made the meal dry. Reasonable prices. Cheap enough for a family
