“Table service is nice in a pub - very friendly & helpful. Food was good & nice to choose veg in place of salad.
We had 2 courses.

It was busy for a Wed lunchtime. There was a very chatty atmosphere. However, as oldies, we found we had to work hard to hear each other at some points.”

“We called at just before 8 to see if an absolute last minute Saturday night food booking for 3 could be made, the lad who answered said if we could make it before quarter past they'd see what they could do for us. We arrived at the gorgeous looking pub just in time, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. A table had been saved for us so we ordered 2 gammon and 1 mixed grill. The meals were HUGE! Not to mention absolutely delicious with the best onion rings we've ever had. The atmosphere was wonderful, the beer fantastic and the staff an absolute credit to the establishment. I'm just upset I live 3 hours away so I can't pop back!”
