We had 2 courses.
It was busy for a Wed lunchtime. There was a very chatty atmosphere. However, as oldies, we found we had to work hard to hear each other at some points.

The Rose & Crown Pub and Houghton Curry House
69 Uppingham Rd, Houghton on the Hill, LeicesterStayed locally and called in after a circular walk. Very warm welcome. Friendly staff couldnt do enough for us. Good selection of drinks and the food was out of this world. Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Saag, Plain Naan and Mushrrom Rice. Absolutely delicious. Great service. A must visit.

The Rose & Crown
45 Main St, Thurnby, LeicesterWe had a brilliant time at the Rose and Crown pub. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in, with a proper traditional pub feel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well looked after throughout.
The food and drinks were spot on especially the tap water with ice. great quality and good value for money. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink or staying for a meal, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy yourself.
I’d highly recommend the Rose and Crown Pub to anyone looking for a great local spot. Will definitely be coming back for a proper drink.
