“I booked a weekend away in the village for my partner as a birthday surprise and he revealed to me soon after that he was wanting to watch the rugby!I did some research and I’m so happy that we came across the Rose & Crown. The owners reserved us a table to dine & watch the rugby next to the log fire - it was amazing. They went out of their way to dress the table and made us feel welcome.We were informed that there was a new chef & I can honestly say hand on heart it’s one of the tastiest meals out we’ve ever had. The toffee pudding was out of this world!Thank you so much for your hospitality. Would 100% recommend. The pub had a lovely rustic feel & everyone was warm and welcoming!”
