This is Alford's best takeaway and my word don't the locals know it. With locally sourced food cooked to perfection 0wen's is an absolute gem. Having had several meals from owen’s my conclusion is 10/10.

Adapted from a cafe to an evening takeaway during covid. It is now the best takeaway in Alford. Plenty of choice on the menu to please everyone. If you like large portion sizes you are in for a treat. Great quality and great food.

May 2023 Update:Owner contacted to explain that presently it is not a cafe but since COVID an evening take away. So no coffee is served in the evening.The name has been kept as it has been a family run business. They hope one day to re open during the day as a caf, so did not want to change name re the takeaway part.Menus were not made as ingredients changed too frequently, but advised food evening choices can be found on their Facebook page. Looking on Facebook you can see this.They were unaware of the spam connected to their Google information so hopefully they will be able to sort this.Hopefully we might be able to do a takeaway sometime soon to further change stars.Initial response. April 2023Never seems to be open during the day.No menu visable.No hot drinks available on asking on one occasion it was open.Seems a bit of a odd set up for a cafe?No idea of food offering .No idea of pricing.Website menu didn't work. Only took me to spam.Is this actually a cafe???

Spent 3 mornings in Alford, early July 2022. Was looking forward to trying out this "cafe". It was never open on those 3 mornings (between 9am and 12.30pm), no sign of life just a pile of wooden flooring leaning up against the wall inside the door. Why was it called a cafe when there looked to be no room for tables?

The food here is simply amazing. High end food for a good price and the quantity will not dissapoint. Friendly staff and wide range on the menu. Food for all the family. This is a must try if never been or visiting the area! We will be returning very soon! ?? Thanks, The Deardens!
