Restaurants in Alford
Willoughby Arms
Church Ln, Willoughby, AlfordThe food as always was amazing , all fresh veg beautifully cooked. The plates are always hot so the food does not go cold, so important. Whenever you go the food is of the same quality. The staff always make you feel welcome, we take our little dog with us and he usually has a sausage. Sitting area outside, some is undercover and is always kept pristine, drink bowls for the dogs and a lovely grassed area for the children to play on. We would really recommend this as a lovely place to eat with the family and as a couple.

Farmer Brown's Ice Cream
Woodrow Farm, Huttoft, AlfordFirstly, we got there late in the day and just had a hot drink and a cake (both were nice ?)I did notice the breakfast and lunch orders that were coming out looked rather good too ?, so I will be visiting again very shortly, and commenting on the food, hence the 4 stars.Meanwhile, i have left a pic or two of the ice-creams and cones that are available there.... Some i have never heard of, so i assume they make their own?Remember Parma Violet sweets? Well, they have an ice cream version here!!!Also, Jaffa Cake and Liquorice?! - what?! - Go on, i dare you to give them a try and let me know if it tastes good, because i can't get my head round those unusual flavoured ice-creams!

The Red Lion Hotel
Main Road, Withern, AlfordThe Red Lion is a good pub to go to in a nice setting. The owners are very friendly and do there upmost to keep it looking nice. We need to support this pub. It has been shut for far too long with the Covid, highly recommended.

The Turk's Head
Main Road, Maltby le Marsh, AlfordParked up in the camper van for a pint after a long day, we were told there was no food but that was fine as we had our own. We were invited in and told it was karaoke night, not usually my kind of thing but we had great fun, wasn't very busy and was just a few locals but we had a great time. We were allowed to park our van up over night for a small charge. Will definitely drop by again if we are ever in the area.

Waggon and Horses
Main Rd, LouthBeautiful food and really great service. My son had an autistic meltdown while we were in the restaurant and the lovely owner and staff couldn’t have been kinder. The chef made a special dish for my other son as he wanted a vegetarian pasta dish and there wasn’t one on the menu. We will definitely be back, can’t recommend highly enough ?

Woody's Restaurant and Bar
Woodys Restaurant and BAr, Woodthorpe, AlfordMy husbands steak was rather fatty, and at first we thought the portion of chips was meagre, but in fact we were replete after our meal. Yummy dessert too.Kid-friendliness: We don't have children but the little play area is a nice addition.
