“Great pub, a proper pub that serves good food. We were away on business, didn't have a clue on where to eat but this place is just a little gem. Good friendly service, very polite and great banter from the very young lady who served us. The food was really good, we both ordered the Rib eye steak, very good indeed, cooked exactly how we wanted and real proper chips - some of the best we have had in a while. We both ordered a pudding, the Treacle sponge was outstanding, one of the best I have had, very well complemented with Vanilla Ice cream. It is a pub, the décor could do with a refresh, but what a little gem - Thank you for serving us - top dollar.”
