Recently under new management, The place is warm friendly welcoming. Staff are amazing. Food is superb and reasonably priced definitely value for money! Great drinks awesome atmosphere. So happy to have found this little gem! I will be back! Thank you

Please ignore the negative reviews in the past - new people have just taken over and Soon as we walked through the door we knew we were in for a good time- great welcome And superbly kept real ale was a good start - we ordered 2 Roasts and the food was excellent And at just over £8 each good value for money- I love pubs like this when they are so welcoming- if they were run like this a lot more pubs wouldn’t be closing sadly

Great pub, a proper pub that serves good food. We were away on business, didn't have a clue on where to eat but this place is just a little gem. Good friendly service, very polite and great banter from the very young lady who served us. The food was really good, we both ordered the Rib eye steak, very good indeed, cooked exactly how we wanted and real proper chips - some of the best we have had in a while.
