me and my family have been tonight for a birthday and have been coming for a few years, we absolutely love it! super friendly and chatty staff, cosy interior and gorgeous authentic indian cuisine. i could not recommend this place more, definitely making sure my boyfriend tries it soon :)

Love this place for amazing food & staff friendly & attentive as always. Go there everytime we want the best curry in town. However the last time we went we all thought it was felt a bit cold in the restaurant & was wishing we'd come in jumpers. Even though the food & service is faultless, it's nice to feel a comfortable warmth in a restaurant you're eating in. I still recommend this place & it will not put me off going again, although I may take a cardi just in case.

We spent a lovely early evening at Surma. The food was delicious and our server was super helpful with our menu choices. There is an extensive menu with lots of specials and the kitchen will adjust the heat to your personal taste. We all loved it Nas will definitely be going back. 10/10

As a family we have frequented The Surma for many years and have found the staff to be really friendly & professional. The food is second to none. However the main reason for this review is because in the last year my husband has not only had to deal with becoming a coeliac he is also nut and lactose intolerant. This has not phased the Surma team they have gone above and beyond making sure that his food is not only tasty but that it is has not been cross contaminated and there is no dairy or nuts in his meal.So far they have had a 100% success rate, which has made it a firm favourite with my husband. Looking forward to our next visit to The Surma.
Amazing experience! Food incredible. Sal the chef an incredible cook his food was amazing... Best most succulent tandoori mixed grill i have ever tasted... melt in the mouth... would highly recommend. Excellent food and service... check it out if you want a truely exquisite culinary experience. Extensive menu nothing too much trouble... value for money and friendly approachable service. Will be back soon.
