“A hidden gem in Bourne’s crown. I used to be a regular, sadly not had the opportunity to visit for last few years. I went last night with my wife and her friends/colleagues for her works Christmas meal. Pleased to see that it has not lost its charm and retained its quality of service and food. We were welcomed and seated quickly, offered to take our coats and given time to settle and view the menu. We were allowed to bring our own alcohol as they are a dry bar, reasonable corkage fee, they supplied us with wine glasses. If you are looking for an intimate, well presented restaurant with great customer service and quality food I highly recommend Shalimar. Definitely will make an effort to return sooner next time.”
