Excellent meals from the Lunch Deal menu, the smaller portions are ideal for many people and we find we can then manage one of the lovely desserts. Also reduces food waste of course!!The only adverse comment is the relatively small choice compared to the full menu, be great if the smaller portion range was increased.Great service, a very pleasant meal.

The Horseshoe

Went in for lunch (3people) as a walk-in and we really enjoyed our lunch. Food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and friendly.Affordable meals and big portions, lovely atmosphere, and overall a great lunch experience.

Beautiful, authentic South Indian food. Go with an open mind and don’t expect your big average tandoori fare. Delicious flavours and traditional cooking styles - ask for recommendations!

Full of Beans Bourne

Called in after my 2 mile walk from Stanground to drop some clothing off the Charity Shop next door. I hade a Latte and the most delicious Raspberry and White Chocolate Brownie. The Latte was the perfect blend and temperature. To cap it all, being the first day of my retirement I walked the 2 miles back home with a spring in my step after receiving a lovely complement from the polite and friendly young lad serving me who when I told him my age said I would pass for 10 years younger. Thank you for the delicious coffee, brownie and putting a huge smile on my face.

The Abbey Road Kitchen

Love this shop, it's on our local dog walk so on my day off we always go in, get a nice breakfast and my dog always gets a cheeky sausage! He even pulls me in there now! They're wonderful people and always so friendly! Further to this thier milkshakes are unbeatable. Well worth a visit!

Jubilee Garage

Really nice place for a drink, decent food menu and ideal if you want to watch live sport as lots of screens. Good feel and decor with a good atmosphere and friendly staff.

J's Chippy | Morton

Third time today we’ve had fish and chips from J’s and every time it’s been fantastic. Perfectly cooked fish and the chips too and very generous portions. Highly

Gurkha 91

Food was really nice..from non-spicy (me) to high spicy (hubby). The onion bajas were the best I have ever tasted!! Staff were very friendly and helpful ..definitely will visit again!

Zorba Kebab

The kebabs are a different league to anywhere here. The meat is better quality and very tasty and the family box is a really good thing I’d recommend. The doner meat tastes better than most places I’ve had it and the chicken shish is maybe my favourite meat from here. As I write this I’m having a doner and chicken shish mixed kebab, which is excellent.

China Palace

This was our first visit,and it was a very foggy wet miserable night outside,so restaurant was fairly quiet, but lotz of takeaways being picked up!we had a lovely meal and e eryone elses food looked lovely and siz,led in a wonderfully aromatic way!!We will order more of a selection next time,as they offered to pack our left over things up for us to take home,so we didnt feel we had wasted our food,that we were too full to eat that night,I thought this was a lovely touch,as I was a bit dubious to ask,but this was offered as soon as tbey came to clear the table,we look forward to returning for a family meal soon,and I think this may be our new favourite takeaway as well,as just as close as our current one in Grantham gown,and parking is so much easier.Thank you for a lovely meal and evening out on a miserable night!!!x

McDonald's

We go here mostly for the breakfast menu. Always do eat in and table service which is quick. Food is good, service is quick. Sometimes can be quite busy depending on the day.

UK SHALIMAR

A hidden gem in Bourne’s crown. I used to be a regular, sadly not had the opportunity to visit for last few years. I went last night with my wife and her friends/colleagues for her works Christmas meal. Pleased to see that it has not lost its charm and retained its quality of service and food. We were welcomed and seated quickly, offered to take our coats and given time to settle and view the menu. We were allowed to bring our own alcohol as they are a dry bar, reasonable corkage fee, they supplied us with wine glasses. If you are looking for an intimate, well presented restaurant with great customer service and quality food I highly recommend Shalimar. Definitely will make an effort to return sooner next time.

Having used Hot & Spot for many years on a nearly weekly basis I find it hard to believe any of the 1 Star reviews, I can only imagine they are being left by jealous competitors, my family has tried just about everything on the Menu over the years and not once have we ever had a complaint, the Delivery to our Village is always within good time and Staff are always friendly.
