The prawn crackers smelled of old cooking oil. We waited an age for our drinks. We also waited over half an hour for our soup. Which wasn’t worth the wait. The duck pad Thai was full of gristly duck skin and zero duck meat.Tables around us we’re waiting ages for their food. It’s like the chef was cooking a dish at a time.We won’t be back.Very disappointing.

First time eating at Sassi's, celebrating my birthday. Asked for a selection of dishes as there was 4 of us. No complaints. Delicious, excellent. Friendly waitress.

A strange place with bland food. Service was alright, but the portions were very small, the coconut rice tasteless, and the Thai food not very authentic. They didn't even have Thai tea. Decor was bland, looked like they cobbled together the atmosphere without much effort.

Unfortunately I was not happy with this much-anticipated Thai place in our town. The starters were so not right - corn cakes are meant to be light, airy and full of kernels of sweet corn. We had some solid rounds of hard dough with some corn. The two sticks of chicken satay came with a sauce that tasted neither of peanuts or spice. I still don’t know what it was. For a Thai place where the sweet chilli sauce is just so insipid that it was inedible - not impressed at all. Whilst my stirfry had some heat and taste, the pool of oil it swam in was enough to make Exxon jealous. The nicest dish was the chicken noodles. This place is EXPENSIVE and it’s not worth it. I literally gasped at the prices - worse when it is not worth the price. Will not visit again.

We went on a Monday night so at one point their was only us in the restaurant so we were well look after. Food was very good all of us gave it full marks. We all said we would go back.
Dissappointed they were closed on Monday, but Google says they are open. So you need to change your opening times to save people wasting their time and traveling so far to be let down!

Seven of us had the Christmas menu last night. Wine included. Couldn’t fault anything. Food was stunning and plenty of it. Good wine too. They went above & beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Highly recommend.
