“A lovely tea room on the high street. I had a really nice afternoon tea, there was plenty with it, so much I was even offered a box to bring my cake home. Really friendly staff and fantastic service.”

“My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on 7th June and booked the event room. The celebration went extremely well due to the attention to detail shown by Steve and his wife. They could not do enough for us. The food was fantastic and plentiful We highly recommend the Red Lion and will definitely use them again for our next event. Thank you Steve and Jess”

“Nice pub, and friendly staff and the drinks were at good prices that's why I've given 4 stars
We went for the quiz, which was a total disaster. Too many questions and picture rounds and questions were read at breakneck speed, didn’t have time to get another drink
If they get a decent quizmaster, we might go back, but otherwise won't bother”

“Absolutely hidden gem! A lovely little fish and chips restaurant. Really clean, staff were all super friendly. Great to have the choice of a smaller portion of fish and chips for a smaller appetite. The fish was super fresh, the chips were lovely and the mushy peas were delicious. A real new favourite place of ours I think. The price was reasonable too including drinks and considering that we ate in the restaurant.”

“Some of the nicest fish and chips around, and reasonably priced as well.
You couldn't ask to meet any more friendly owners either, always make you feel welcome and have a chat.
They are closed Monday and Tuesday though.
Edit:
Unfortunately the shop is under new management as the previous owners have retired.
I've tried them twice since and was not impressed either time.”

“The Black Bull is a cosy traditional pub. There is a wide selection of beers lager and cider, but unfortunately, no hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales when we visited. The staff are very welcoming and the pub is dog friendly. There is a nice outside seating area behind the pub.”
