First time we visited, seen the little cafe before on passing and so as it was my birthday I requested husband to take me for tea and cake as it is my favourite thing to do! We were met by a pleasant lady who directed us to a free table, obviously a popular place as some tables were reserved. We ordered tea and cake and it was thoroughly enjoyed. Group of four. Reservation beforehand. Afternoon tea was good. I had egg on toast. The staff forgot the jam and cream. My plate was dirty. Otherwise, nice experience. Maybe smile more?

Our First visit, we had the afternoon tea, absolutely delicious. The staff were all lovely and friendly, we felt very welcome and well looked after. Beautiful vintage tea room atmosphere, you feel like you are stepping back in time for a while. We will certainly be revisiting again and will be recommending it to everyone, thank you!!!
