This was always our go to Chinese takeaway, but recent order 40% increase in price, this is way over the current cost of living increase. I don't know if they have changed hands or just the chef as the meals were different. Food was good, salted prawns were now not as salty as they used to be which is much better, sometimes there were inedible. Chicken soup was watery and tasteless. Lots of meat and prawns in the dishes and very tasty although the Thai red curry wasn't a Thai curry, but it was spicy. Overall, good quality food, but very expensive. We'll have to try out the other takeaways now to compare.

Ordered a takeaway for a girls night in. The food was amazing. Giant spring rolls the best I’ve ever tried. Sweet and sour chicken, crispy beef in the most delicious chillie sauce, spare ribs, sea weed, rice, chow mein. Everything cooked to perfection. The order was taken efficiently and politely and was delivered on time. Thank you for making our evening so perfect.

Ordered Sweet and Sour chicken balls and chips for takeaway. Received and the chips weren't cooked properly and were pale and the chicken balls were so hard I think they were re heated. I will never order from this place again. The sweet and sour sauce had a water like consistency. Absolutely disgusting food, used to be amazing but not anymore. Very expensive now.

We usually use China Royal but after reading positive reviews we decided to try China Garden. Worst decision. The food quality is very very poor. The chicken has a strange texture. The skinny noodles were overcooked mush. Everything else was flavourless. Unfortunately the meal ended up in the bin . We couldn't even eat it. Probably the worst Chinese food I have ever tried.
