Would not recommend, even it were free!Took my family along with a large group for Christmas lunch. 2.5 hrs after being seated we were starting our main course.Couldn't get a drink for 25 minutes due to not enough staff to cater for 10 people, let alone 30.Food was average at best and service was shocking. The few staff they had working were spot on but overall terrible experience.Ruined our Christmas day.Will definitely not be returning!

We started to visit here a few weeks ago, and we are now a regular customer. Great food, quality beer, and the staff are amazing even when they’re busy. And the customers are so very friendly. Our first visit to the Jolly Miller former favourite meal Sunday Lunch. An unusual experience (for us) of a carver which the staff then plate up for you while you sit at the table. I'm sure we will get used to us. We were very happy with the meal, choice of two meats, 3 veg, roast and mashed potatoes and of course the Yorkshire pud. There were other options than the Sunday roast too. Personally I prefer the roast potatoes firmer and my Yorkshires less well done, but that is a very small downside to what was a very good Sunday lunch. We will definitely be back again. Quick and efficient service too.
