The Reindeer is a lovely pub, whether it is a drink you are after, or food! The food is amazing - eaten there serveral times and it's always been really good - piping hot and tasty even when at capacity. Family have stayed there too when visiting and love the rooms - spacious, clean, and have all you need! Beautifully decorated too!! Highly recommend!Rooms: Spacious, clean, has all you need. The food here is nothing to shout about.. the minted lamb cutlets had no mint, garlic bread with no garlic.. The potatoes that came with the lamb looked and tasted burnt. Other peoples orders didn't look too bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again on that basis especially after telling the staff the issue and them doing nothing to even try and rectify it.P.s the fish and steak dish looked lovely

Went today with family, 9 of us in total. Omg, it was beautiful . We had starters and Sunday lunches as well as normal menu .. and everything was fantastic. Great portions. Exceptional service. Lovely place. Will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 on all counts. Thank youFood & drinks: Fabulous !

Well, what a lovely place, the pub is very nice, staff very welcoming and friendly.Food is lovely and fresh, good portion size.We stayed overnight in one of the rooms.We were given a key by the barman and given directions to where our room was.As we walked outside to our room, there were a lot of cigarette ends all outside the entrance on the floor, which makes it look very untidy.The rooms are like a little chalets, with a table and chair outside the rooms with an ashtray on, the ashtray was overflowing with tab ends.The rooms are very spacious, and the bathroom was huge.Tea, coffee making facilities, nice big TV, small fridge.Bed was very comfy and clean.Unfortunately that's where it ends ??The room was thick of dust on the mirror, doors, pictures. And I mean thick ! Not just a day or two, I'm talking weeks of dust.Cobwebs in every corner of the bathroom, bathroom mirror I couldn't see through ?The waterfall shower head was full of limescale, too.Now I'm not saying it was dirty, just the cleaning lady needs to step up her game and make sure these are cleaned and not just changing the bed, quick vac round, and wipe tops down.I will say though, it's a lovely place, friendly staff, good food and the breakfast was very good.Will I stay here again ?Most definitely, it's a lovely gem of a place.Just a few tweaks with the cleaning and alls good.Landlord and lady lovely friendly people too.Rooms: Very largeExcellent comfy bedJust needs cleaner to clean doors, picture frames, mirrors and get rid of all cobwebs.Empty ashtrays outsideFood & drinks: Brilliant food ?Very tasty n freshBreakfast excellent ?Drinks ? good selection

Held a surprise birthday party here in their function room. I cannot thank the staff enough during the months of planning and booking on top of the staff on the day/evening! Such wonderfully friendly, helpful people who made the whole party an absolute success! The venue itself is so beautifully decorated (especially the function room with its’ own bar and lots of fairy lights) and the food is delicious. I am so glad we chose this as our venue (the extra luxury of hotel rooms on-site is a big bonus too!) and I would 100% recommend to anyone for a meal out or an event. Thank you to them all!

Food & drinks: Fantastic Roast . People say it's a bit expensive but TBF it's pretty reasonable and the pub has a lovely warming vibe and everyone is very friendly.
