Held a surprise birthday party here in their function room. I cannot thank the staff enough during the months of planning and booking on top of the staff on the day/evening! Such wonderfully friendly, helpful people who made the whole party an absolute success! The venue itself is so beautifully decorated (especially the function room with its’ own bar and lots of fairy lights) and the food is delicious. Went for Sunday lunch with my wife. Not been for a while and was dubious with the latest reviews. Well it didn’t disappoint! The staff were fantastic with nothing too much trouble. The food was excellent, best Sunday lunch we’ve had for a while. Starters and mains but couldn’t manage a desert . Will definitely return

Well presented food, quite expensive but it's more gastro pub than "home cooked fayre" I prefer something a bit more salt of the earth but that's just personal preference.. it was nice, but pricey good portions & welcoming staffFood & drinks: Nice but a bit pricey.
