I had heard that they had a large vegan menu so first chance I had I visited with a friend. Lovely inside with high ceilings and nice decor. Clean and tidy with nice toilets equipped even with free sanitary products. ❤️✔️ Ordered the vegan breakfast but didn’t fancy falafel on it so my friend, who ordered first, asked if he could switch the falafel for a vegan sausage. He was told the sausage would have to be added as an extra and the falafel left off but wasn’t told the price so he assumed there was no charge. He then told me the same so I ordered with a americano and soya milk (they charge 30p extras for oat milk). When the staff member told me it was £17 I was shocked as £10.25 and £3.15 for the coffee doesn’t add up to £17! I should have challenged it but I really didn’t want the falafel (it’s not really a breakfast item) but I left it as is. I worked out that is been charged £3.60 for the 1 sausage. ? The food and coffee came and looked and tasted very nice. The vegan bacon was the vivera and I would have preferred the this isn’t as the vivera is more suitable as a topping rather than to go with a breakfast. Everything else was lovely. You’ll be spoilt for choice from the vegan menu if you visit but just make sure to ask for it when you arrive.

Was highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. the service we received was very good by the team and our choices from the menu were enjoyed by all 3 of us. So much so we returned for lunch which again we had both good service & food.

We dine at Cosy Club, Lincoln quite often so being the same chain, thought we'd try Caldero for the first time. Mistake. My wife ordered via the app Randall worked well, until the food arrived. I chose the lunchtime 'deal' of soup and half a tomato and mozzarella panini. The soup was served at about 80C and I couldn't touch it for at least ten minutes. It was vegetable soup, bland and green. The panini, well, I couldn't find the mozzarella; the one slice of tomato was there and the rocket was plentiful. But the bread was overcooked/overheated and was absolutely brittle. We enjoy dog friendly places, didn't have ours with us, but have to draw the line at a diner being allowed to have her dog at the table, and eating tidbits from her...at the table. How can that possibly be permitted within the hygiene laws? Ah well, a mistake we won't be repeating. Bye bye, Caldero.

Visiting Gainsborough for the first time, we were very impressed with ‘Marshall’s Yard’ and what had been done to retain something of an historic former industrial site. Caldero Lounge was a very nice find for a late lunch. We were seated by a very enthusiastic young man and our food was delivered by another extremely polite young man. It was really lovely to see two young men who were keen, interested and engaging. I wish I’d asked their names but hopefully credit will be directed where it is very much due. There are interesting choices for all dietary requirements and clean plates all round was our verdict. The decor is lovely - very unusual with a lot of interesting artwork, which I would have loved to have looked at more closely. Highly recommended.

We arrived at 16.00 a starter. Then ordered the 1-3 year old granddaughters food to come with starters. Two hours later they tell us there is only one chef. We never got our main course. They had the audacity to charge us for the starter. As I went to the bar the girl that worked behind the bar had a lovely burger and chips ? Appalled at the service.

A first encounter and will unfortunately be the last. Upon arrival greeted by an enthusiastic young lad who was polite and provided great service. Drinks arrived quickly as did the food. Unfortunately, the flatbread was stale and hard to cut into on both mains. Very minimal amount of fries, served in a grubby unfit state tin cup. The lamb was very hard and the falafel was extremely dry! The tables and flooring looked grubby and dirty. As dust and dirt was visible on the majority of furnishings above our table.

6 of us went here for breakfast. We didn’t have a reservation and got seated with ease. The staff were friendly, atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic! - this place is definitely a triple threat! The hash browns were perfect! Crispy, yet light with no grease. There was lots of choice to pick from, plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I’d definitely recommend.

Disabled customers note that you can not get through the door without help.It is very hard to open and keep open.Shame as plenty of room inside.Food is not to everyone's liking, maybe.Layout in Tiffany style but music not.Staff do not have uniform or name badges, so it is difficult to order or request something.Parking: When busy, prepare to go round again to park

This place is a hidden gem, upon arriving I was allowed to leave my mobility scooter inside no problem at all, nice friendly helpful staff, we was served straight away, we choose the tapas 3 dishes and a glass of wine which hubby said was really nice, i changed mine to a soft drink which wasn't a problem, the food arrived quickly and was amazing the flavours were very authentic and the young man that served the food was very good at making sure we had everything we wanted, it was so tasty and as good as any tapas we had in Spain. This was our 1st visit but certainly won't be our last and have already picked a date for out next visit with friends, it really was a very nice relaxed atmosphere and the decor was amazing it I dog friendly and I even saw a meal menu for dogs and also a small book exchange bookcase in the corner which was a great touch, all in all a great place with lovely staff and amazing food , well worth a visit

We have been to this restaurant many times but I feel it is going downhill. I went to the bar to order lunch. I went to the usual place.at the bar. A member of staff was making coffee, saw us standing there and didn't say anything to us. I thought he would serve us when he'd finished making the coffee. At this point there was no one else waiting. A colleague walked up to the other till and 3 groups of people got in the queue. I asked the young guy if he could take our order but he said we would have to join the other queue, which we did. The person directly in front of us placed an order for a very large table. Finally, when it was our turn, we were told to go back to the original till to be served by the original member of staff. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he just smirked, obviously finding it quite amusing. I did point out that maybe he could have told us he wasn't taking orders and directed us to the other payment point but he didn't respond. On the plus side, the food was pretty good. Just don't go unless you have lots of time. We had a sandwich and a dessert and we were in there for nearly 2 hours!

The staff are very young friendly and earnest , the tapas were small tasty but over priced . mains arrived and the meals were cold, replaced with fresh dishes, which were inedible the flat bread bases were hard impossible to cut into , just slightly soften by the pre made sauces , hardly any meat , my lamb was tough. Sadly this was a very bad experience ,
