This is for Asda Orrel Lane in Liverpool This is for Asda Orrel Lane in Liverpool ,most are okay but they are some that do nothing but chat to other staff when the big bosses go home, rather than work, which is what they are getting paid for, does smell of strong urine smell outside near the ATM machine, they are good on filling up empty shelves with tins i've noticed, to stop them from chatting to much lol..A place usually runs well there is good observational management system. Its okay but could of been allot better.

Just been to Asda Grantham to buy some logs, there was non left outside thought I would go in & check to see if they had any in the store, a young lad was stacking baskets so I asked him if they had any his response was. Is there any outside I said no so I asked if he would mind checking if they had anymore his reply was sorry mate ask one of my colleagues as that’s not my department. ( nice ) one for the future to be multi trained. !!!!

So proud of these two youngsters for stopping and helping the distraught mother when others were just driving by her. Not impressed Asda staff have made out they were in control of everything, our daughter even had to send them a picture from her phone to show the actions that had been taken. Well done to a very young couple so proud of you both for your compassion to this mother.

Big sign says “wait here to be seated by a team member” at the entrance to the cafe … we waited and we’re ignored. I went over to the till, only to be told “you can sit where you like” Ordered two breakfasts - overcooked and hard bacon, congealed baked beans and pale sausage. Yea was served in a large paper cup (meant for fizzy drinks) and was so hot you couldn’t pick it up. Staff totally disinterested. Says a lot about the management.

When I need to get a lot of different things and I need them for really cheap... I break down and go to the not-always-24-hour ASDA. Yes, that annoys me that on the side of the building it says 24-hours, but it isn't on the weekends. I don't care that it isn't 24-hours on the weekend, but then don't advertise that it is 24-hours. For as large as this place is, it is always so crowded. And while the shelves are usually stocked pretty well, sometimes the produce area is pretty bare after being picked over all day long. The reason I'm not a huge fan of this place, after a couple of times trying to pay with a non-chip and pin card, each time it was a big production and the staff members kept saying that I better get a chip and pin card because after a few months they will not accept non-chip and pin cards. Which is a load of tosh because, again, if a company says they take payment by Visa or Mastercard, they have to honor any and all cards, chip and pin or not. Funny enough, today when I was in the self-check out (with plenty of cash to pay for my groceries) the prompts say that if you do not have a chip and pin card, you can swipe it on the side of the screen! No more taking all of my groceries to Customer Service and listening to some staff member lecture me about something I have absolutely no control over. And I rarely buy avocados, but today I thought I would like to have some in a salad, so I bought one, only to have picked one that had no label/barcode on it. So I asked the staff member, who went to go and get a barcode for me, although it took some time, he came back, but wasn't sure if I had a large or a medium avocado so he brought barcodes for both. I certainly appreciate his help... that may be the best customer service I have received at ASDA.

Family parking in top right of car park. They should let you avoid the £2 if you are no longer than 20 mins
