Desperately needed to feed hungry children on the way home. Staff couldn't have been more helpful making a big table for us all to sit together and accommodating all our requests. Food is all cooked fresh and is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were divine. A true five-star meal!Large meal was enough for two person easily.

We were greeted warmly despite being late on a Saturday night. Our fish and chips was freshly cooked and looked delicious when delivered to our table. It proved to be as tasty as it looked. Despite being on his own, the chef and manager looked after us very well and ensured we enjoyed our meal. Thank you!We understand he has plans to improve the decor and the atmosphere of the restaurant. That will certainly add the finishing touch.

First time getting food from here since its been taken over. The owners are lovely and friendly. The food was cooked to order, the large cod is large and easily fed 2 of us. All the food was delicious, thank you. Will definitely be back.

Thanks for taking our order online and not even bothering to deliver it , also Thanks for lying when we spoke to you about it being on the way after a 2 and half hour waiting ... awful service unfortunately couldn't give you no stars...don't take a order if you're busy and can't fulfill it ...quite simple
The man working on the till was very polite and let me try a chip before to see if they were good for me , he even threw extra chips Aswell as a battered sausage for free. Amazing service and probably the best place in town to get fish and chips from. Had a very poor meal there last night. Waited 30 mins although shop was practically empty. We ordered cod & chips. Peas & curry sauce. Fish was over cooked & still had skin on which I hate. Curry & peas we had to take back as they were cold. Lady told us she had plated them up too early! When I mentioned the fact that the fish had skin on she told me sorry & that it was haddock & not cod!! It was not a good experience & we will not be back. Young girl who took our order was lovely but dressed in pyjamas & slippers - maybe not a great vibe.

The owner asked me to let him know how the food was, well it was tasty! Nice chips, fish was fresh and the curry sauce is a cut above! Well done, especially as everything was cooked fresh to order (maybe because it was Sunday evening). Will come back.

On the way to skegvegas our holiday starts at this chippy, even our kids opt to eat here instead of Maccy D's, this should tell you something!... Have to wait but worth it, batter crispy, amazing chips n curry sauce, and use their own secret recipe vinegar.Friendly family run business.Congrats on 11+ results family.

All freshly cooked and while we were waiting were given complimentary chips and some curry sauce.Shame we live down south ( knocks spots of our local chippy) and only up this way a few times a year.
