Ordered for the first time this evening and absolutely the best curry we’ve had for a very long time! My biryani was delicious, mild with lots of flavour and my partner’s biryani, with a madras sauce was just how he liked it. I also ordered a chicken passanda as I’ve has so many awful biryanis and that was lovely too. The naan breads were soft and fluffy and the poppadoms light and crisp. We will definitely be ordering again!

First time trying here. Delivery was fairly quick and was kept informed when there was an extra 15mins delay. Starters. Onion Bhaji. Two small apple shape and sized balls for deep fried gram flour and spices. The outside was lovely, crisp, golden and well flavoured, but the inside was a little more raw - which I quite like! You get to taste the chickpea flour more. Due to the size and density of the Bhajis the middle will always be a little under cooked. Very tasty though. Mixed starter. 2 chicken tikka, 2 lamb tikka and 1 sheek kebab. Both tikkas were superb. Juicy. Cooked perfectly. Smaller chunks than some other takeaways.. but probably the best I have tasted. The sheek kebab. Very different to any I've had before. The size of a Pepperami.. not the norm.. but it was to die for! Really great. Texture superb and so flavoursome. I think I might order extra next time! Mains Chicken tikka korma. A rich, thick gravy. Creamy, buttery and full of flavour. The best korma I have had for years. Generous amounts of tender chicken too. Piping hot.. as was all the food. Lamb dansak. Small, juicy pieces of lamb. Tender.. with a couple of pieces having the usual lamb fat on them.. but very tasty! The thickness and sweet/sour of the suace was great. Lots of flavours and no big ring of pineapple. So served the proper way! Very filling. Chicken tikka garlic chilli. Described as fairly hot. I would say more medium. A couple of thin green chillies whole were in the dish.. not the usual over kill of them found elsewhere. The gravy of onions, tomatoes and herbs and spices was fantastic. A little sweetness too. I really enjoyed this one. Sides/extras Peshwari naan. Arrived red hot! Fresh. Still a little crispy.. the bag hadn't made it sweat too much. Full of coconut.. and lovely and sweet. Vegetable rice. Non greasy. (Like all the food.) Fresh carrot pieces.. a few other veg.. but mainly rice. Again.. a welcome change from lots of frozen veg out of a bag chucked into a pan! The rice was very tasty, and didn't clump together. First time I've eaten up all of the rice too! Poppadoms. Not greasy. Not burnt. Perfect. Mint sauce. Lovely flavour. Not highly coloured. Very natural. Not too thick.. not too watery. Just right in my opinion/my tastes. Salad. Usual. Lettuce, tomato, lemon wedge and cucumber. All fresh though.. and seemed washed and clean. This won't be the last time I use this takeaway. 5 star hygiene. A really friendly delivery driver.. great smile.. and I presume one of the owners or family member. I can't really fault this first try. Curry is always so hard to rate.. as so many people like different thicknesses, spice level etc. But to an experienced chef and consumer of many types of food, takeaways and cuisine... I rate this 110%. Thank you to the talent chefs.

Lovely food but shocking delivery service to our caravan from one of your drivers called padoosh (honda civic driver),shouting down the phone at us saying he wouldnt deliver because it was only a pound delivery charge- regardless of cost we payed for the delivery service and the abuse that was recieved down the phone was disgusting and totally unnecessary . He said he would cancel the order if we didnt go and meet him ,we have ordered from this indian a few nights before and the woman delivered striaght to our caravan with no issues

Another curry place that seems to use the same base for everything. I ordered a vindaloo and it tastes nothing like a vindaloo, seemed to be a sickly masala sauce with some chilli's in, still wasn't anywhere as hot as a vindaloo should be. Rice was ok, naan was the usual rubbish every curry house seems to use in grimsby. No effort what so ever, threw half in bin so wouldn't be tempted to go back and eat some later.

Very satisfied by every order I've made. Tasty food, reasonable prices and ready at the time quoted.

Three curries...veggie rice and naans....chicken tikka luke warm....rice the worst mash up...some sauce that tasted like tomato sauce...Jalfrezi...okay but that was only by comparison to the rest of the meal...and no mint sauce....first and last time...I actually cant eat it.

First time ordering food from Grimsby Tandoori. Live in Immingham and ordered a delivery, lovely food loads better than local Indian takeaway. Well worth the extra delivery charge.

We have been loyal customers of another Grimsby Indian restuarant for years. During lock down we used Uber Eats and received a 50% off code so thought we would try here. It didn’t disappoint and was so tasty that we ordered again yesterday. We got the meal deal and wow, great value, very tasty food, very fresh. Onion bhji were amazing, as were chicken jalfreiz and the mushroom chaat. Rogan Josh lots of taste and naan bread too. Definitely recommend and ordered on the app for delivery between 7.15 and 7.45 - it arrived absolutely spot on 7.15, amazing. Well done. We have decided now to make this our regular :)

Onion bhajis appeared to have been last night's, warmed up in a microwave, and with horrible, really runny mint raita. Chicken jalfrezi a bit oily, but OK. Rice OK. Plain naan smelt funny, and tasted "cheesy" - yuk. Saag Aloo was a bit oily, and then I found a hair in it. Go elsewhere - I wish I had.
