Fantastic steak, particularly the filet. All starters, sides and accompaniments ordered were excellent, our waiter was very professional and accommodating.A few things from the menu were unavailable due to the popularity of the new menu but didn’t hinder our experience at all.

We enjoyed an amazing meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The food was just perfect and Vicky, who was serving us was just such a delightful and attentive person - it was easily the best service I’ve had locally. Thank you again and we’ll be back soon!

This was our 3rd visit, but the first in an evening. Food was very good, staff excellent as always. What I will say though is there is a marked difference in the standard of food served in an afternoon to that of an evening. The 2 afternoon visits we made in November were pretty poor ... the onion loaf looked like it had been re-heated several times. It was quite burnt on top and impossible to cut, bits just flew all over the table. We were actually refunded for 2 main courses on our 2nd visit as the rack of ribs was so over cooked and dry. The afternoon chefs definitely need more training. We ordered from the main menu on all occasions, not the lunchtime special menu.

Absolutely shocked by the lack of service tonight! Took 45 minutes from us being seated to getting our starter. Then the kitchen staff had a slanging match where staff had to apologise on behalf of it. The mains came well over an hour and once we were done sat there for around 20-30 minutes. Not asked once how it was for us. We asked for our pudding and the bill. The bill came first then 15 minutes later came to ask if we were ready to pay and if we had our pudding yet…. No we hadn’t then she asked if we wanted to take it away instead which then took another 15 minutes. We have been going since they opened nearly 5 years ago but have lost our custom tonight.

Excellent, I very rarely leave reviews but I feel this one can’t be left unsaid!Fabulous evening from start to finish, food was incredible as always but the highlight of the evening for us was the service. I work in hospitality myself and can completely understand how frustrating it can be at times so to see our server Clare working so professionally, quickly and efficiently is a breath of fresh air. Nothing was too much for her with my annoying allergies and it truly did make the evening. Thankyou so much Clare, we will be back soon!!

Nice location, staff was friendly. We went as a group of 6 (friends). Food was good, steak cooked perfectly. Seafood slightly overcooked. Only issue I had was waiting around 25 minutes for a coke. Then we had the same issue when ordering wine. It took around 20 minutes to come. Chips was stuck together. Apart from that, it was a good night.

We had past here so many time and wanted to go in, we got engaged a few weeks ago and decided that going here would be a wonderful way to celebrate. The service, from meeting Melanie at the door to Vicki serving us to us leaving an hour and half later was amazing. They were both so wonderful, smiley and attentive. The food it's self was the most tasty and well cooked meal we have eaten for a long time, anywhere. I really can't praise this place enough. To sum up in one word.... Wonderful. ❤️❤️

We had a really good meal here, the steaks were fantastic and perfectly cooked. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is worth it as a treat or special occasion. Just a shame about a child screaming all throughout the meal, but I understand this is not Miller & Carter's fault.

Nothing too much troubleA lovely gesture from the chef at end as he/she made a small ice cream with happy birthday piped on.A wonderful experience all round. We went here last minute tonight and I have mixed feelings. My partner and daughters meals were good. Mine however was really poor. I ordered the fillet medium rare and unfortunately it came out blue!. I mentioned this and they were happy to rectify and cooked a second one which again came out even bluer! I didn't complain at first as both my partner and daughter had nearly finished their meal but when the waitress asked how it was I showed her. She was shocked and agreed with me and said she would inform the manager. She offered to replace again, which I declined.She, the waitress not the manager as she never even had decency to come to us, came back and said I would get a free desert for the inconvenience, even though I was paying a £6.50 supplement to have the fillet steak.The service was very slow (We were there for nearly 3hrs!) and when the bill came, they still charged us for the desert! Had enough and couldn't be bothered to complain.Food for the majority was good but my food and the service was absolutely shocking. First ever complaint and the last as I will not be returning.
