Attended this pub yesterday with a friend and ordered 2 pints of Carling lager and handed over £10, I also told the guy who served us to "have one yourself", when I received my change I was given 40p. The guy took £3 as a tip which I thought was unbelievable. I asked the guy in question if I could speak to the manager and he informed me that "iam the manager". To cut a long story short I was refunded £2 but I will never visit this place again......CROOKSUpdate 04/09/23.... Thought I would pop in again while waiting for the Train to go back home, to see if there had been any improvement. I was the only person in the whole pub and I soon realised why..... £4.15p for a Pint of Carling Lager, compared to £3.40p in a pub less than 200 yards away, no doubt the barrels were delivered on the same lorry as well. Also, the mens toilet was disgusting

Full of characters, great for an end of the night dance. Floor is very sticky and the toilets are gross.

The staff and magnificent Pedro are excellent, the 80s music is just what the doctor ordered. My issue is the state of the rest rooms like no door lock in ladies cubicles and having windows that lead to outside without any privacy. The other thing is the way some locals make you feel intimidated when you go there and you're always dreading a fight about to kick off. Cannot comment on food as I haven't had any.
