Very nice place with authentic Italian food and great coffee. Atmosphere is very pleasant and service is great. A little pricey, which is why I give it 4 stars rather than 5, but a nice place and welcome addition to Horncastle.

What a real gem this place is!For freshly made authentic Italian delicacies, this is the place to go.The staff are friendly and efficient, and despite being super busy, after a brief wait, we were shown to a table opposite the log fire. Perfect for a cold Saturday afternoon!The setting is beautiful and uniquewith a great vibe and plenty of choice on the menu to cater for all dietary needs.Highly recommended. Great venue and location, with ample parking and something for everyone!Looking forward to our next visit.

If you want some Italian style and sophistication and enjoy great coffee, cake or pizza and lots more you can't go wrong at Bar Unico. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of on site parking.

Lived in lovely Horncastle for over a year & only went into dine here December for the 1st time. Very very impressed- something a little different & something a little posh.. vast Italian menu - we ordered pizza and was very impressed..There coffee's were top notch also, and their homemade cakes are on another level.. the service was outstanding- from the lovely Lily who was utterly charming & professional..Going to have to go back - actually might have to go back tomorrow haha...

We, as a group of 4 friends, went to Bar Unico Horncastle for one of their Christmas menu evenings. We visit regularly and always enjoy the coffee, food and atmosphere. The Christmas evening was brilliant, the food was exceptional, the staff are all very welcoming and the bistro was looking very festive. It was a 4 course meal and the food was delicious.

It was Sunday horncastle Christmas Market & we were very hungry so stopped for lunch here. Very very busy inside as it was Xmas Market day..lucky a couple were just going so found a seat. If you like being very warm, you will love this place - 2 wood log-burners heating the lovely venue..slightly different menu today as there was such a large turn-over of customer's Bar Unico had a limited menu - and quite rightly so as their normal menu would of made other customers wait..we had the house-soup & beef meat-balls and vegetarian- pizza ? - and I might add that the pizza was 1 of the best pizza's I've eaten in a long -long time.... if you want somewhere chic - classy to take partners and/or family visiting ect - then they will be very impressed with Bar Unico....
