Had lunch there today. Food was superb, as was the service. Plus it's 20% off every lunchtime! Will be back soon. Oh, I recommend the slow cooked stuffed belly pork in apple juice...

Bar Unico

Our group of five had the most delicious dinner at Bar Unico. The food is impeccable and the service is friendly and helpful. The pizza crust are epic. The toppings are fresh and highest quality. Horncastle needs Bar Unico for an everyday treat and special occasions.

The Royal Oak

Great value and great food. There are lots of deals on various days.

Definitely worth a visit to this charming village pub.

We will be back for sure. You should give it a try.. book first though.

Bar Castilléjar

Traveling and needed somewhere to eat for the evening. Lovely atmosphere, traditional music, and gorgeous tapas dishes all served hot and fresh. Lovely service would definitely recommend.

The Blue Bell Inn

We’ve been about five or six times to the BB as our new year annual visit.

We’ve been as a couple, a couple with a dog and a couple with a new born…and the dog, and each time has been superb!!

The food, the welcome, the real fireplace, the ale are all great.

Thanks for having us each year, we look forward to many more visits.

Harpars Bar

Absolutely delicious. Great food, great menu choice. Staff lovely and food ready on time but go early and have a drink if youre not driving. You need to try this place, it has a lovely atmosphere

Pedal and Paws is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you and your dog are made to feel so welcome. It’s a true dog-loving haven — the sausages for the dogs are a must and always go down a treat!

In fact, our dogs now drag us through the door and flat-out refuse to walk past without going in — they know exactly where the good stuff is!

The staff are consistently warm, friendly and attentive, creating such a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The food is delicious, freshly prepared and full of flavour, and the coffee is genuinely some of the best around.

If you’re a dog owner (or not!), this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back again and again!

The Coach and Horses Inn

Thank you. One girl and just few customer, yes girl not in a rush,yes there this time I dont feel welcome. 6 bikers and from Cup 1 till 6 its takes 30 min lol. But its maybe a day like this. When I ring on a phone they told me kitchen working but when we are come girl says only chips and nuts can buy lol. We been too tired so ordered coffe and....when 2 finished then only another 2 get another 2 cups....
In general place nice and clean. I love inside style. I love customer there,so friendly local. Sure if we start stopping there every time after ride we gonna receive better service. I still recommend this place for coffee stop. Thank you.

After being turned away from two other pubs, we were relieved to finally get a table somewhere nearby. We are so glad we chose here & they had space!
The Sunday dinner was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked meats and fresh, in-season vegetables. The kids meals were spot on too.
We couldn’t resist dessert, and we’re glad we didn’t. We ordered the Bakewell pie, raspberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake, amazing!
The service was excellent from start to finish — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It honestly felt like being invited to someone’s home for a lovely Sunday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

Old Nicks Tavern

Great place and great live music. As a musician I found they couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. Get over there and support a pub that likes their live music

Very welcoming. Great selection of cakes. We had large full English, tea cake and drinks. Best breakfast my husband has had in a while. Cooked to perfection. (and he is fussy). If we are over this way again we'll definitely be back. Hopefully try the cakes next time

Magpies Restaurant with Rooms

There is no doubt that this restaurant is perfect for fine dining.The food was beautifully presented, with an imaginative menu and a delightful blend of flavours.
Unfortunately the service was not good. It was our first visit and so we did not know the protocol. We were told to wait in a room and then after 20 minutes of being ignored went to find someone to ask for our order to be taken. We had to ask for everything like a menu and drink, no one explained why we were waiting and when a menu did arrive it was just thrown down on the table. We found the whole dining experience quite unfriendly with little engagement and this was so disappointing. At one point we were told they were very busy, but all the tables were not occupied and cheerfulness costs nothing. Looking at other poor reviews there seems to be a recurring problem regarding the coldness of the staff.

Tapas Lounge

The food it’s amazing! My daughters have said that tapas it’s the best place to eat the Portuguese traditional dish Francesinha, even better than Portugal! Sonia is always so sweet and welcoming!! Thanks very much for the great service!

Tapas Bar Restaurant

Ate at the restaurant as part of birthday celebrations as our previous booking let us down. The Bull Hotel were very accommodating at short notice and, having not ate there previously, we weren't sure what to expect. While the table was a little crampt for a party of 11, we were very pleasantly surprised. A relatively small choice on the menu but all to the parties tastes. The steaks were cooked well and the quality of food was very good. I opted for the belly pork cutlets, very tasty but a little overcooked and had food envy if those that ordered the steak. Waiting staff and kitchen staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful through the evening.

Olivares Tapas Bar

Quite honestly the best restaurant in Lincoln. The location is perfect, with views of the castle and the cathedral, illuminated at night. We ordered a wide variety of dishes from the menu and every one was exceptional. Excellent value for money, a wonderful place, with delightful service from Chloe and Denisa. A very memorable evening. This is a Gem of a pub, with great service and smiles. The room was great and location was perfect for our visit to local attractions. Both nights the meals were amazing with lots of flavour and huge portions. Breakfast was as good and large. A very lovely traditional find. Thanks you guys.

The Kings Head

Not too sure how to rate as we visited specially for the Pieminister Pies. Lovely rustic pub however they are currently not serving food. They said it’s a supplier issue.

Gardener's Retreat

Just finished our Christmas dinner! What can I say! It was excellent! Tasted like homemade, piping hot, large servings, staff were friendly, helpful and quick! It really was a smashing start to the Christmas season. I would highly recommend anyone to book and enjoy! Thank you!

Costa Coffee

I've enjoyed tea and cappuccinos several times at this Costa, and the drinks are delicious. The furniture and upholstery need cleaning or replacing. The people are friendly. It's a relaxing place.

King's Treasure

We finally got round to trying King’s Treasure with friends after meaning to visit for a while. We booked an early table as a large party was booked to go in, which we took as a very good sign.

Happy to say it didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent — fresh, full of flavour and plenty of it. The service matched the food perfectly: friendly, welcoming and attentive without hovering over us every five minutes.

We had a great evening and will definitely be back. In fact, we may even have to try a good old takeaway next time… purely in the name of research of course! ?

Update: We tried a take away 15/3, we ordered crispy duck which was lovely, pork which was tasty and I had crispy chilli beef, unfortunately there was nothing crispy about it, it should have been dry with very very little sauce, however this had loads which resulted in the beef being soft and really chewy. I am not sure what the difference was between having the dish in house and having a takeaway, wouldn’t gave it again

Peking Chef

The best Chinese food I have ever tasted. The fillet steak in black pepper sauce is so tasty and tender. The king po chicken is delightful and the spring rolls to die for. An excellent takeaway

The Bridge

Lovely cakes and puddings. Lovely set ice. Absolutely delightful shop with lots of really interesting gifts. Perfect of you want a peaceful, relaxing place to enjoy morning or afternoon tea and cake. The lunches being served also looked great.

Agra Tandoori Takeaway

We ordered takeaway, 1st time, found the ordering a bit odd so was not sure what food would be like, picked up food, really enjoyed what we ordered, hot and very tasty, will eat there again

Horncastle Pizza & Kebab House

The best boss man in horncastle, been there well over 20 years! Any yoy can tell they know what they're doing from the quality of the food. Everything is good, especially the pizza and kebab!

Mermaid Fisheries

One of our fave go to fish and chip shops. Been coming for years and the quality has been a constant excellent. Highly highly recommend to anyone who's passing through or just worth a trip itself.

Cooplands

This resembles another chain of well known fast food sarnies and pastries, but less expensive. They have a wonderful "breakfast in a box". Its a choose either any six or any right for a fixed price. It's a "full English" in a box. Wonderful value and very nice food. Visited twice and had different on each visit. Sandwiches made to order, so they are fresh. Ready made sausage rolls and bakes. Plenty to choose from. Cakes and beverages are available Will definitely call in again when in the area.
