I really enjoyed this food and dining experience. The staff were warm, polite and attentive. The price was good and food great. The fried gherkins were excellent! Though if I was being critical there could have been more for the price. Really enjoyed them and the dip though.

I went last night for an experience. Service was brilliant, staff were very interactive, polite and attentive. The burger I had the 'Caroline reaper' was one of the best burgers I've had in a while and was definitely value for money. Everything from the atmosphere to the service made for a great first date experience and I will be coming back to try more of the menu.I would say my only feedback would be the inconsistent opening and closing times, makes it hard to plan a visit. But, honestly everything was worth it.

Good simple menu, good value for money, staff are brilliant, had a waffle and hot sauce and golden syrup, I would suggest to improve the waffle mixture as it was thin and crispy, they should have a fluffy texture, but overall was good. My other half food was good expect the chips should of been cooked longer as they were still a tad undercooked, but over all the dish's were good. I would still come back tho when passing againKid-friendliness: They were very sweet to my girls

We have eaten here several times since it opened. The food is always fresh, hot and well presented. They use locally ingredients wherever possible and maintain an authentic American style. Waitresses are pleasant and attentive and the restaurant has a fun American theme.

A great meal with the family. We had starters and mains and couldn’t fault them. The fish cakes and ribs were absolute perfection and for someone who doesn’t like gherkins - the battered gherkin starter was lovely!!

What a disappointment. Christmas week visit with family. We had pre-booked a table in the ‘restaurant’ but when we arrived they had no idea what we were talking about. The ‘restaurant’ was much less nice than the coffee shop and more basic than a low-budget cafe. The staff seemed to spend more time talking to each other than checking in customers. The website suggested carvery, fish and chips and specials. None of these appeared to be available and the standard menu was very basic and uninspiring. Our food arrived and was not pleasant. No one came to check so there was no one to tell. Chips were solid, coleslaw tasteless, Italian chicken was definitely not. Really disappointing and definitely below par.

We visited on an early Sunday afternoon at the end of November. There is a small serving area, at least for cake and coffee, the sunday lunches I think are done on the lower level of the restaurant, which does have split levels. Our scones were without doubt the nicest I have had in ages - they looked nice and tasted nice - truly lovely but they were very expensive - not far short of £4. A very small portion of cheese cake was also around £4 and imho that is very, very pricey. Decent latte coffee and plenty of tables in the two sections as well as a few tables in a small conservatory between them. Toilets ok and there is a disabled one near the conservatory tables.

I visited the restaurant this lunch time with my 10 year old son. All the staff were lovely and so was the food, we both had carvery which was delioous and served by a smart and friendly chef who we had not seen there before but hope to see again in the future he did a great job .
