My second visit and every bit as good as the first. Always very friendly and really good food, in fact I invited a couple of old friends over to eat and I wouldn't do that if I wasn't confident. Lovely countryside and a lot of local history......shame it's so far from London. Thank you to ALL the staff !!

Visited on a Wednesday evening , currently staying at tattershall lakes. The food did not disappoint , the portion sizes were huge and all freshly cooked. Service was brilliant too. A traditional country pub, Would highly recommend and will be returning .. 3 adults and 1 child visited .Food & drinks: Fantastic home cooked food , steak and ale pie was out of this world all freshly cooked, burger was amazing and the kids meal again really enjoyable .

Shame this pub has no dog friendly area! We sat outside in rain as there are covered areas. Won't be back though..

Had a nice meal and dessert here today with family only let down as other people said is the toilets in particular the gents, mould on the skylight the urinals smell and there was an old fly trap with dead flies on in here. All it needs is a good scrub/clean with bleach and plenty of air freshener or an open window etc would sort it, just some time and effort which is a shame. It's a lovely nice old pub
