“A small cafe just outside the Newport "archway" in Lincoln (Cathedral and Castle within easy walking distance).Lovely coffee. Good selection of sandwiches, cakes, and pastries. Friendly staff and prompt service.There are just over half a dozen seats inside the shop itself. However, when the weather's nice, you can spill out onto the outdoor seating.Sometimes it can get a little noisy with traffic from the road outside, but don't let that put you off! A little gem of a café.”

“Visited Browns Pie Shop today, 14th October . Browns Pie Shop is worth a visit to Lincoln on its own. The restaurant is fabulous, and the food is excellent. It's one of the best pies I have ever tasted. My wife had a different type of pie to me, and they were both fabulous. The staff are so pleasant and very helpful. The service was excellent. There is a great atmosphere in the old building. Can't wait till we can visit again.”
