What an amazing experience we had here. From the moment you walk in your greatest with a smile (from Stewart) and welcomed into the pub oke a member of family. Drinks order taken swiftly and kept topped up all the time we was there. We shared a 36oz tomahawk steak with all the trimmings for a Sunday dinner. Steak done to perfection. Roast potatoes to die for. Gravey, that was the best I had ever tasted. HUGE homemade Yorkshire pudding. It was like tasting heaven on a plate.Fortunately, our dessert stomachs still had a little room, I opted for the cheese board, I was not disappointed. Not your usual with grapes, celery ect, no this had quince jelly, which was devine, cheese that was smooth and creamy, biscuits that was a little sweet but still savory.Yes it cost us £84 for 2 people, but this was THE best Sunday dinner we had ever had. Please please try this gem of a pub out.Parking: Lot of on street parking available

The Kings Head has been popular for a long time but the new owners are doing a tremendous job. They have a great team in the kitchen and the food is outstanding. I have recently enjoyed their themed evenings and was blown away with the creativity and quality. At the game evening the stand out dishes were the Venison and the Goose courses; the Venison was beautiful and tender and the Goose was full of flavour. The the o the courses were delicious and flavourful. The Seafood evening was as good if not better than the Game night, with Oysters, Scallops, Langoustine and Halibut featuring. The Oyster was a first for me and I was really impressed complemented by Salmon and Caviar. The Scallops were cooked to perfection and presented on a half shell with an excellent sweetcorn sauce. The Halibut needs to be a regular on the menu, a lovely piece of fish and a great dauphinoise to accompany.Their Beef Wellington on the standard menu is worth the trip alone but the Themed evenings are a special treat. If in doubt, book.

Really good food! Had a fantastic lunch. Staff were wonderful, kind and attentive. The pub itself was a little worn and lacked character. Needs a bit of a revamp.I feel a bit picky saying that - Id definately go again. Really good food - bit of a gastro pub.Wheelchair accessibility: Got in though the back / car park entrance. There is a good accessible toilet and it was easy to navigate my way though to the pub. Couple of minor steps - but nothing insurmountable. Plenty of staff to help out.

Our 1st visit for my 50th birthday. Had lot's of good reviews, and they were right. It was steak night, which also had 20% off steak, which was a bonus. The service and food were fantastic. We shared a steak board, and our son had the beef wellington. Steaks cooked to perfection and were super tasty. The steak board had a fillet 8oz, rib eye 10oz and 10z sirloin with two sauces. Absolutely 1st class. The beef wellington was again cooked perfectly. We had the sticky toffee pud with amarula bomb....excellent and a great way to end the meal. A bonus as they had Timothy Taylor Landlord beer which was very nice. Can't wait to go back and try more tasty items off the menu.

We booked a group of 24 for Sunday lunch, and sent in a pre-order a week ahead. Fantastic service, especially for such a big group of us. The food was hot, very tasty, large portions, and exactly as per the pre-order, and also all brought out at the same time. The staff were very friendly. We aren’t local, but if we ever find ourselves in Lincolnshire again we would definitely return.Vegetarian options: But roast available for Sunday lunch.
Nice mealSome of the starters on the small side for what they cost so not sure I would have one again.Marked service at 3 as there was a new starter who was pretty clueless, other staff good thoughWould go again as a treat, not your everyday pub prices

An interesting lunch time menu. Soup delicious and mains/desserts very good at good value cost at 26 for 3 courses. Evening menu all good and interesting at a slightly higher cost. Service and attention from Landlord excellent. Beer ok..well kept. The pub was however, cold and dark thus lacking atmosphere.
