A historic venue in the very centre of Lincoln. Perfect coffee and lovely selection of food in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We love visiting Stokes whenever we come to Lincoln from America (usually a few times a year.) Service can be hit or miss (mostly miss) and queues can be long but EVERYTHING we've had there is amazing..so we keep coming every time we are in the area.

Happy to que and staff were very friendly. Firstly, tried to order a pain au chocolat but were told they had sold out despite seeing some on display. We ordered a scone with jam and clotted cream. The clotted cream was completely unusable - see photo, this is how it arrived! Coffee however, was nice. But overall a disappointing visit on our first trip to Lincoln.

One of a kind great old world location atop a old bridge. Sits on 3 floors and proper old style dining experience. Good selection of foods and very tasty, gravy and pies . Not the cheapest but a must place to visit in Lincoln. Good service.Lovely views at the back but spoilt at the front by multi-coloured benches on the bridge which don't fit in with the surroundings.

Nice little coffee shop, great employees and good tea. I'll be returning while I'm out here.
Great place with much history, great food, and friendly service. The place is well maintained and kept true to its original character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And most importantly, the food was great. Had a nice breakfast with some good tea. Quick cake and coffee option is also available.

We found this Cafe purely by chance and are pleased we did. It is in a wonderful building with a great view over the river. The food was great and the staff Ruby and Laura who served us were very friendly and welcoming.Food and drink were good value for money. Strongly recommend.
