Fabulous salad lunch. Very good value. Bonus that our doggy could come in with us & so we didn't have to sit outside in the changeable weather.

Disappointing. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw. My jacket potato looked good, the skin was crispy and brown and there was a good looking side salad and good sized portion of coleslaw. However it didn’t live up to expectations. The cheese was tasteless and the coleslaw was really bland. How can you make coleslaw bland!? I was so disappointed. The last time I ate here I was given a raw scone. They did swap it for me but the cake I had as a replacement was underwhelming. After today’s Lunch I won’t be back, which is a pity as the staff are nice and the ambience is great.

Delicious food in an authentic building in well presented surroundings in one of Louths oldest passageways “pawnshop passage “ A wide range of food with advice on hand to guide you through the menu . A warm welcome with a smile which is a very important part of any eating experience. Manners are supplied free of charge and please and thankyou came as standard . Refreshing .

Loved the decor, the furniture and layout. Staff were polite and welcoming. The coffee was excellent and though we only drank, the food menu looked varied. Later some members of the public showed up and kinda spoiled it, mouthing off to each other across the restaurant. But the peace was lovely while it lasted,

Originally went here for my friends baby shower and we had afternoon tea which overall fell short of my expectations, as the price didn’t seem reasonable for what I got however I did bring this to owner Bree’s attention and I can’t fault her on the way she handled my situation. She offered me and one friend a complimentary lunch as a gesture of good will which I think was more than enough bless her.We attended today for our free lunch and it was lovely Bree was nothing but polite and helpful, a nice atmosphere…and the food was yummy. Will definitely go here again! I feel guilty for my original complaint but my issues have been noted and I couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you again Archie’s xx

What a lovely evening we had in Archie's such friendly professional staff. We had two pizzas and a bottle of red, the pizzas were perfect homemade and tasty. The Malbec to go with our meal was perfect. So glad we ventured into Archie's for the first time it definitely won't be our last. Also such great value for money. We even got to meet Archie himself !

A new and hidden gem in Pawn Shop Passage. Vibrant, friendly and accommodating staff. Had English breakfast as this was a first visit, figured I'd start with a benchmark. Very satisfied although next time, I'll choose poached or scrambled egg rather than fried. Hey, that's a reason to go back! There's a canine menu, afternoon teas, plus there are cocktails too.

Dog friendly cafe/bar, water bowls and treats available. We had the cranberry and cheese panini with side salad/coleslaw. Coleslaw had too much onion for my taste, despite this we’d visit again if in the area.

Vegan and Gluten free easily catered for. We had the vegan breakfast. Great portion size and decent food. Sensible prices too.Dietary restrictions: GF bread available.

We live in Louth and had been to Archie’s before and the lunch was lovely. My daughter decided for her birthday she’d like breakfast here. We are both vegan so we ordered the vegan breakfast, the promise was something delicious but the reality sadly wasn’t. The meal consisted of red onion and potato hash. portobello mushroom, tomato, baked beans, smashed avocado, roasted red pepper, baked beans, spinach and toast, with a cup of tea or coffee. The first thing we were surprised at was the huge amount of spinach hadn’t been wilted, I’ve never had uncooked spinach on a hot breakfast before. More worryingly was my spinach was gritty, very unpleasant and I couldn’t eat it. The red pepper hadn’t been cooked enough and was quite crunchy, it’s usually soft and juicy. We didn’t comment at the time because we didn’t want to cause a fuss at a venue we’ve had lovely food at before. I don’t know if it was because they were busy but I wouldn’t recommend this meal to anyone. Having written all that as I wrote above I’ve had lunch here and it was lovely. The staff are always attentive and friendly ☺️
