This is THE go to place for fine Indian cuisine. Cash only for take away so don't get caught out!

This is a good Indian restaurant (the takeaway is poor for some unknown reason). It's reliable and consistent, been here almost 40 years. Several of the staff have also been here many years.Prices (especially drinks), are expensive. Banquet night (Wednesday) makes it much better value.

Great traditional Indian restaurant. Very old building with an unusual entrance. Mr Naga was delicious and onion bhajis huge. Thoroughly recommend, pops, 1 starter, 1 main, 2 rice, a side and bottle of wine £52 for two…….

Great Indian restaurant. High quality food and a well established menu. The staff are attentive and fun to chat to. Prices are good for the amount of food offered. Highly recommended for dining in or takeout.

Our first time. Service was pretty poor to start, and we were left waiting to order drinks that took 20 minutes to arrive. We ordered food at the same time as a drink and had poppadoms to start that also took a while. Food was quickly severed after those were done with and was amazing. We will go back?. A couple of tables left because of how the service was, but we were happy to wait as we loved the time together. Reasonable price and portion size is large.

Food not to bad but prices very expensive. pint of regular coke £4.95 and pint of kingfisher was nearly £7Main course was lamb korma with rice. £17 just for the main and riceI think my bill was about £65 for the 2 of us. We had 1 soft drink 1 pint of beer a shared starter and 1 main each no desert. £32.50 per person for what we got seemed alot of money. Probably wouldn't come back again.
