“Called in today, 26th October, with our two dogs. We had been in one Sunday and liked this pub. Back in Louth, looking for table in antique centre. Only wanted a snack as dinner waiting at home. We decided on a steak, onion and mushroom baguette with chips and salad. We asked for baguette to be cut in two as we were going to share. It came out, beautifully presented, on two separate plates with very generous portions.Absolutely delicious.Wood burner alight, very cosy with a nice ambience.A shame this pub is not nearer to us in Lincoln.”

“Excellent pub with very friendly and welcoming staff. We went for a Sunday roast dinner - the beef was excellent and there were lots of vegetables. Very good real ales. Seating in the bar or the restaurant and some covered seating outside too. I would probably describe the restaurant as comfortable rather than cosy. Best to check opening times before you go.”

“Great base for exploring on our first visit to The Lincolnshire Wolds, we stayed in our campervan with our dog, fabulous sized pitches, very peaceful with ever so friendly staff and other campers. Lovely walks from the site too. We ate in the pub which was absolutely lovely, made to feel very welcome. The two newer shower rooms with their own wash hand basin and loo, attached to the pub, were much better than the old one’s nearer the camping area, these really could do with an upgrade but fine for a wee, sure the owners know this as they seem to be spending a lot of money on the site in general, would definitely return soon ???”
