Food was great here good choice of steaks and a mixed grill plus salmon fillet. Service was excellent and we were a falily of 10 and they created a space for us to sit in the conservatory and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.

Visited this place on many occasions and always had a good meal. The last couple of times not enjoyed it all! Had t put up with people vaping in the pub whilst having a meal bar staff knew his but did nothing. We knew the owner wasn’t on duty as I think this wouldn’t have happened!! We visited the pub again and I fancied something simple I had sausage, mush, peas, and gravy. Gravy and mash was okay sausage was disgusting cheap and tasteless.. I was really disappointed with my meal on this occasion.

Really lovely place. We and our dog were made to feel extremely welcome. The owner is a star and made up a large bowl of meat from the carvery for our dog. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we went there 3 times during our stay. Highly recommend this place.

Great pub, great staff. Graham the manager, is so funny and so is his husband. Food is excellent, great carvery on a sunday. Can't wait to go back next year when we will be away in our caravan.

Two of us had chicken tikka.. it seemed they must have been short on this meal and to make it stretch added a tin of tomatoes. We wasn't impressed.I used to really enjoy eating here. But over the last 12 months I'd say the food isn't half as nice as it was.The staff were friendly though.Dog friendly too which is nice.Kiddies play area arcade is a nice addition.

This diamond pub really is a little gem. Food is lovely. Well cooked and always piping hot. We have been in with just me and my husband but also with our family of 12 and always been treated with kindness and consideration. Two members of our family are gluten free which has been accommodated for without fuss and with a great respect for the condition. They are kind to the dog and lovely to the children. The staff always have a smile and fall over themselves to meet your needs. It’s not like some local pubs when strangers walk in, everyone looks. Everyone from staff to customers makes you feel welcome. Well done “the Louth” for a great effort

Great value carvery served by a very glamorous lady who made a fuss of our daughter and made her feel special. The meat was good and vegetables fresh. The staff are very friendly and take care of customers in a very personal way. Dog friendly so if that is a problem ask to be seated away from any dogs or don’t go.

Went for breakfast. We missed it so had the carvery. The vegetables were undercooked. The stuffing ball was a brick. Couldnt get my teeth or knife in it. Hardly any gravy given. Yorkshire pudds were tasteless. The turkey was ok but the ham was too hard and inedible. Very very disappointed. Left feeling hungry. Had blackcurrant and water for a drink. The blackcurrant was the cheapest ever. It was nearly £3 each per pint!!! Dont usually pay much more than 50p for just the squash.
