If you want eat, you have to wait to be seated.
A carvery and menu are offered here wich will suit most.
My only complaint is the opening times, when I booked a table for an evening 8 o'clock was latest they could do!
The meal was ok, but by 8.45 the place was empty with the staff cleaning the area with little regard to diner's.
The rest of the staff were waiting around with an obvious eye on the clock. When we finished dining, and seeing the staff obviously waiting for us to go, we went to relocate to the lounge bar, to find it empty with the doors to the outside open and a low temperature to discourage anyone entering to finish the night.
We enjoyed our meal but we were back in the car by 9 o'clock!
We were the last customer's to leave the building!

Everyone agreed one of the tastiest Indians we have had. Same quality as Anoki in the midlands.

Mill Rd, MablethorpeWhat a delightful little gem this pub is . We travelled from just down the road in cleethorpes, on our way to ... well we hadn't really decided at that point ! Anyway decided to stop off and have a drink . We were supposed to be staying new years eve but plans changed and still hadn't visited so thought it was a good time to call . On arriving there were about 8 motor homes-campervans in the carpark. We were in our camper van and was going to be staying out for the weekend where ever we ended up . The pub itself on entering was so welcoming , every table was full of people eating , chatting and enjoying the pub, roaring fire , cute-funny plaques to read and just generally welcoming . I'd spoken to Jackie ( the owner i believe ) before on the phone so was looking forward to putting a face to the name . Phil was very welcoming and the other gentleman who was helping out ( sorry I've forgotten his name ). They had said they were fully booked up for staying in the car park, which was fine we would just have our drink , but then a little while later Phil said that they could squeeze us in so we decided to stay the night . As mentioned before there are toilets that are kept open for you to use all night , we had our own but it was nice in the morning being able to freshen up etc . We stayed for breakfast ( the portions are not for the faint hearted) I can eat ... alot ?and even i left some, it was delicious, full English. The people we got talking to while having breakfast said they had the meal the night before and that was also delicious. So all in all a very nice pub, fab staff and will definitely return for a stay over again , thankyou

Shop 6/7, Central Promenade, Seafront, MablethorpeWent here last Saturday while away for the weekend in Mablethorpe, there was plenty of places to choose from but we liked the look of this, right overlooking the beach.
The food was absolutely delicious, Fish & Chips. it was cooked fresh, came out pipping hot, was a very decent portion even tho we order the small portions, the batter on the fish was light and crispy, the chips were all fresh and lovely, and was still piping hot right towards the end of eating them. I would highly recommend this place, In fact I was that impressed when our family left I waited to tell the people serving how nice it all was and thanked them. Get yourselves to Marcies Fish and Chips if you are in the area.

chalet park, Links Ave, MablethorpeReally good pub, great atmosphere and really good food. I had a blue cheese sauce with my steak and it was amazing, really strong flavour can't wait to try again. Dog friendly and all the staff we met were very friendly and professional.

The Mermaid Fish and Chips
The Dunes Gardens, North Prom, Quebec Rd, MablethorpeWe popped in for food yesterday before driving back home after spending the day in Mablethorpe. The fish n chips were absolutely delicious ? boneless and skinless and there was no waste at all.
The Batter was the best batter I have ever tasted in a long time. Absolutely cooked to perfection. We all agreed that next time we come back to Mablethorpe we’re making a bee line here for our Fish n Chips.
My apologies for copying someone else’s picture of the fish n chips my phone was low on battery but it’s clearly shows the excellence of the food.

The cafe is on the seafront and yet it is in a sheltered position which makes it a bit of a suntrap.
Food is really good especially the home made cakes
Dog friendly with icecream for their refreshments.
Easily the best cafe we visited on our trip!

Great selection of real ale,lager and top shelf drinks. Always a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. While we are on holiday this place is just perfect for us. Another bonus you are minutes away from most of the takeaways. So can have a few drinks, order your food. And pick up no problem. Its a nice little bar,that seems to be very busy. Thumbs up from us.

Had a really lovely visit to The Coffee Pot. The breakfast was spot on — good quality ingredients, nicely cooked, and plenty of it. You can tell they care about the food they serve.
The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The café had a cosy, homely feel, and it was a great place to sit and enjoy a meal.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mablethorpe.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy enough to get to from the small car park nearby though parking is a big issue during peak times. Quite a walk to the toilets and these need 50p to get in. Not the Shacks issue though so still a good choice.

5 Fitzwilliam St, MablethorpeWe’ve been visiting Monty’s for many years whenever we’re in Mablethorpe with the family. On our last visit about a year or so ago, it had changed owners and we weren’t too impressed, so we were a bit unsure about coming back.
But today we stopped in for lunch—and WOW! What a difference!
The fish and chips were absolutely amazing. The portion size was fantastic, the fish was cooked to perfection, and the chips were delicious. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
So glad we gave it another try!!

Snack Attack Tea Coffee Latte
High St, MablethorpeCheap and cheerful. Let's get things into perspective first. This is not a restaurant pretending to do finest cuisine and failing. This is a cafe doing snacks and hot and cold drinks, and doing a great job at it.
It is small, but that doesn't mean that it's not looking after its customers or doing a bad job, quite the opposite in fact. The cafe is clean and laid out well allowing customers to move around adequately.
Signage displaying what is on the menu is well displayed around the cafe with prices clearly visible.
Orders are taken at the till. The staff are very polite and diligent in the service they provide. H&S and hospitality have obviously been taught to a good standard, this shining through when I ordered a slush drink for a 3 year old. The staff were not rude at all, they simply told me they couldn't serve a slush drink for a 3 year old. (This is in accordance to the FSA guidelines for slush drinks).
Prices are low, this is not in anyway a reflection of poor service. The bacon may not be the best cut, or the ketchup and brown sauce may not be top brands, but as I said at the start of this review, it's not a restaurant pretending to do finest cuisine, it is a seaside cafe and they are doing a fantastic job at very affordable prices.

9 High St, Sutton on Sea, MablethorpeSat outside as weather was good. Sat down and was immediately given a menu by a polite gentleman who said he would be back soon for the order. Ordered Two teas, a latte, 2 coffee and walnut cakes and a chocolate cake. Honestly the best cakes we have had in a long while all homemade. Tea was excellent, not your normal weak offering. Lady who took payment who I assume was the owner was also very chatty and polite.We will be back.

Central Promenade, MablethorpeA lovely find! After going for a lovely November walk along the beach, we wanted something to eat and drink so we're pleased to find that this place was dog friendly and serving food.
The welcome by Jayne was so lovely! She showed us to our table, got a bowl of water for our dog. When ordering, she was so polite and really made us feel welcome. Lottie was also fab - polite, kind and efficient.
We had a range of food from carveries to pizzas and wraps - all which were delicious so a shout out to the chefs, too!
My one point for improvement is that it would be nice to have a proper hot drinks machine so they could serve lattes, hot chocolates etc rather than instant coffee. I think it would be popular!
Thank you to Jayne, Lottie and the chefs who made today's meal so lovely. Customer service like they showed us should just be 'the norm' but it really stood out to us!
