The only fish and chip shop that is worth going to in the area. Do not even bother going anywhere else. This is the best.Parking: Not easy. You have to ask the locals!!

Had the special 2 weeks ago won't be going back poor ignorant staff and when I got home I was very poorly with stomach cramps and being sick that was all I had eaten all dayNEVER AGAIN

Back visiting area and took the trouble to visit this restaurant, 6.30pm, that we used to visit regularly. We had the all day special but Unfortunately the meal this evening was very disappointing. We waited a reasonable time, expecting the fish to be freshly cooked, but sadly the batter, although crispy, was dry and the fish and chips also. The fish is sold as a 6-7oz fillet but I would be very surprised if it got close to 6oz. The quality of the fish was poor (discoloured) as were the scant portion of chip. The luke warm mushy peas tasted ok, with the tartar sauce being the only redeeming part. We mention our disappointment to both waitresses but all they could say was that the fish was sold by weight. Such a shame ☹️

I had good hopes and expectations for this fish and chip shop but crist I was so wrong! Where do I begin, Tasteless curry sauce, batter was soaked in grease and the chips were average. They are even charging £0.60 for 1 sachet of tomato sauce. I hope they change their ways but I won't be coming back here. Good

This has got to be the Best Fish and Chips in the the area and perhaps in the east of England. The thin batter option for you fish is absolutely fantastic - let the flavour of the fish through. The potatoes for the chips are from Lincolnshire and have a real 'chippy' flavour.Parking: Plenty of parking outside the shop. Free car park across the street.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff and comfortable restaurant layout.

Have been going here for the past 4-5 years but it has recently gone downhill so don’t go here as regularly anymore. Firstly there was not enough salt on the chips. Secondly the chips were not that nice, however they did have a deal where you can get a free kids meal every adult meal.

Lovely food, friendly
Great service, best fish and chips in the area.
We have been here a lot and the food is very good.Parking: Depending what time of day you go will depend on how easy getting a space is.
Have used this establishment numerous times over the years and food is always well cooked, good portion size and on time. Well recommended.
