It was our daughters 10th birthday today and we were out for the dsy and we're looking for pubs nearby for us to eat out at. Partner checked the reviews and we headed there.Must admit we were a little apprehensive at first because of how quiet it was, but it was definatley worth it we all really enjoyed the food, the tavern burger was delicious as was the I house homemade steak and guiness pie. Even accommodated for our boy who didn't want anything off the menu. Overall really happy.Definately recommend it to anyone who may be passing by to give them a try.

We had a lovely Sunday carvery and pudding. Staff were lovely as well, if not a little short handed. They were very kind to our 18 months old grandbaby who was with us.Kid-friendliness: High chair was in place ready for us when we arrived.

We stopped off here for lunch yesterday. First, I popped in to ask if we could bring our dogs inside, all OK. As we brought them in we were met by the landlady bringing a bowl of water for them. Amazing service. We had a fantastic lunch, large portions, beautifully cooked and delicious.I can recommend the gammon and the rhubarb crumble. Lovely place and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely midweek meal and dog friendly

Bad quality food, prepared without any care, bad taste. They served the Grill by piling the different types of meat on top of each other, with no side dish. Terrible meat. The worst Tzatziki so far in Crete. Unfriendly service.A terrible experience. Not recommended at all. One star because I have to, but they deserve none!

Really freindly owner broke down outside and even though they were closed let us use toilets and car park while waiting for recovery
